Every mario track has 3 checkpoints. Which are divided into zones. Start to checkpoint 1 is zone zero ( this extends back beyond one starting grid.) Checkpoint 1 to check point 2 is zone one Checkpoint 2 to checkpoint 3 is zone 2 Checkpoint 3 to the line is zone 3 however the lap checkpoint is actually in front of the line.

After all the complicated stuff is done and ur confident about the coding etc, you could add more detail to the track. As we can see, u used ice as the road. If you had nothing else to do you could perhaps re create a snow or winter track from any of the Mario kart games. (GBA snow land would be nice and simple)

A solution implies there was a problem :P There was never a problem, I own Mario Kart and I play it a ton. It seems like you're implying that I made this so that I can play Mario Kart, which isn't correct. I made it because it makes for a good video, it was fun to make, it improved my skills, and my friends had a ton of fun playing it! That's like saying an alternative solution to doing a puzzle is to just buy the finished image. Yes, it might look cleaner, and yes, it might look more professional and finished, but having the final image isn't the same as making the puzzle yourself.
