It’s great to have diff size people try in the clothing! The only thing is that your mom is fit (meaning, her body shape isn’t that diff from yours, it’s just bigger in size - there’s no thick thighs, stomach, whatever - that lots of people have).

Carter Pewterschmidt i’m not denying that but i used to be like a size 10 before i lost weight and there definitely is oversized sweaters and shirts and stuff that fit bigger sizes, but shorts and stuff definitely not but if you are bigger and really want some brandy Melville stuff, there are some things you can find. but i wouldn’t buy online bc all their shirts are slightly different sizes like some are bigger and some are smaller so trying on stuff is definitely a must

The clothing is designed for a smaller frame. The designer sees her clothes fitting a certain way on a certain body and I see nothing wrong with that. You don’t see size 4 people getting upset over plus size brands so why does it have to be the other way around?

My problem with One Size clothing is that most times it means "looks good as long as you´re not considered plus size". Like, what looks loose on you would probably look skin tight on me, sadly. Anyways, I love this video and I am insanely jealous of how cute that last dress looks on you :D

Christie Massingill this is a pretty late response but plus sizes stores (like torrid) have more than one size (i think it’s from like 12-20something) while brandy is only one size (and in the past their tag used to say one size fits all). also brandy wouldn’t be considered a petite store bc petite clothing are meant for shorter people not necessarily for skinny ppl

I’m a size 000 or xxs and I walked into a Brandy Melville without knowing they only offered one smol size. I normally hate shopping cause I try 20 pieces and normally walk away with none fitting. Im asian living in NA and so we’re just sized smaller than the market. I was floored that everything fit me, I normally only fit well into kids clothes. Even “petite” clothes I have don’t have proper cuts or they cost me $$$. I actually teared up a bit with having such an easy shopping experience. Everything I picked fit for the first time or had a way to adjust and cinch tighter around my waist. The only other time I’ve felt this was then H&M updated their sizes and their size 0 was perfect. I absolutely love Brandy Melville but they have very few locations left where I am. ( probably since their customer market is just smol ppl and not inclusive…) Everyone deserves a store that makes them feel this way. (I’m hesitating posting cause I feel like ppl will get all angry. No hate plz. The company is probably going to die out soon anyways. Unless they profit a lot from some selling clothes that are the sizes of tiny towels & require less material.)
