Been struggling with mental health for a while and thought reading books could be a good mindful way of coping with stress. Ive watched so many book recommendation videos but this one is by far the best. Im so glad i came across your channel, a truely amazing thing finding someone so real like you.

Loving the new you 😂 had a chuckle watching this video. Yet again I need to go book shopping, if birthday buying doesn't count then I've only got to wait 3 weeks 📚
try "things remembered and things forgotten" by kyoko nakajima. short story collection that's quite deceptively cozy but the stories are quite deep and introspective. if you haven't gotten into anything japanese yet, this one might be a little different in terms of mood and peculiar characters

We've found dehumidifiers help with the mould, and a good mould killer - you have to nuke the mould every three - four months, but it does help.

Haha I literally had the same debate about money for my birthday. My mom got me a gift card so I could buy myself some Stehen King novels and I was like I've asked for this but i need to read what is on my shelf first however its for my birthday so it doesn't count but it will count when I buy x amount of books that I now need to read as well as the ones on my shelf(I still haven't made a decision and now I don't even know if I want Stephen King books) 😂😂😂

I loved The House In The Cerulean Sea as well and have also read In The Lives Of Puppets which was very emotional too. Fantasy has always been out of my comfort zone as i usually read mystery/ thrillers so i was surprised how much i enjoyed them. Just about to start on Abby Jimenez (also out of my usual genre) on your recommendation so thankyou for widening my horizons and im glad you are doing better apart from your horrid cold!

Loved this episode Tyrone! You be you lad because you are great person and well done for finding help when you needed it but also taking the time you needed and also sticking with it. It's a tough battle but you're never alone carry on speaking out. Loved the singing you put your all into those tracks I can tell those expressions were fully invested haha Loved it! And sometimes we do find coping mechanisms like food during hard times and it can take time to work passed them too but you'll do it when it's right, I had a similar deal with food and I started a principle of not rewarding myself with food when I was having a bad time and having it when I felt good instead. It actually really helped but it was again a hard challenge so one step at a time 🙂 much love to you! 💛

I enjoyed the Tom Hanks version, but it did make some unnecessary changes and took out a lot of Ove's backstory. If you don't mind movies with subtitles, there is a Swedish language version that came out before the Tom Hanks version, which is more heartfelt. And you get to know more about his wife and his marriage.
@paisley97829 күн бұрын
I actually don't want to watch the Hanks version because the Swedish film is wonderful.
@SamuelMcAuliff9 күн бұрын
@@paisley9782 The Swedish version IS the better one of the two, that's true. I've heard a lot of hate for the Hanks version, which I don't think it deserves, but it is missing a lot of the heart and soul of the original.
