CW-S-4 CM 13 Vanguards
7 months of on and off playing and I finally have this cleared.
It all started in December 2023, where I started grinding this stage coming off my H9-6 clear. After grinding for the whole of December, I got to the rocket portion but was stuck as i didn't know what to do. On top of that, I had to go for National service, which greatly decreased the time I had on this stage.
So i decided to slowly chipped away at the stage. Through the pockets of time i had, I fine tuned some areas and brainstormed the last few enemies of the stage, which eventually led me to this clear. This probably would be my favorite clear for a long time. I would never imagine my perseverance would pay off.
Nerd stuff(any qns feel free to ask in the comments i will do my best to clarify them the stuff here is things i find noteworthy)
0:40 Startoff
probably the most complex sequence of inputs i ever came up. When i played this stage for the first time in Lone Trail, I realized Kristen phase 1 can quickly become a tug of war between you and her as even 1 ball reduces so much of the damage she takes, which is why i decided to just burst phase 1.
3:00 opening enemies
pretty standard. The hardest wave to handle was definitely the 2nd wave of enemies on the right side. But blacknight is OP. There are many times where i had to watch out for a mumu ranged clone spawning on the down switch and messing up the mecha burst
6:05 last few enemies
The place I happened to choke the most was of course the ending(smh). The ball push at 7:08 was my arch nemesis during this grind. I have so many past runs where the mechs either dont get pushed, get pushed up, or dont get pushed at all. Originally, the plan was to use the sail deploy a few seconds later to shove both mechs up but mumu proccing the ball early made everything so inconsistent, which is why i went this route to try and shove the mechs using mumu.(also u cant deny it looks cool with the sideways push)
for the rockets it actually took quite long for me to figure out the solution was just stack them and saga burst as they dont have that high hp. trying to stackt hem up took me so long as their spawns are so spread out and binding that first rocket as it comes out was so frustrating as Ines s3's hitbox is so big she can accidentally hit a ball and end up not binding the rocket(fuck the 6 target limit man).
