Every year, we drive the one-hour west to the Bighorn National Forest to cut down a live Christmas tree. It has been a family tradition for over 21 years. Last year, our daughter couldn't make it back over Thanksgiving and we had to go with out her. This year we had both kids with us and we had a blast. Our son and his wife brought their Koda dog for the first time and he LOVED it!!!
It does not matter whether you buy a fake tree or go on an adventure like us and cut down your Christmas tree. I love the look and the smell of a live tree.
In years past, we always planned our trip on Black Friday to avoid all the crazy shoppers. But this year, we had to wait a day later because it was so cold up in the Bighorns. Come with us on this adventure.
