Wonderful testimony! God has a reason for everything. He knows what's around the corner - we don't. Our job is to trust Him. For EVERYTHING! And to praise His wonderful, loving, holy name even when we are suffering the most. Life is a learning curve. God wants us to be strong in Him and in the power of His might, His grace, His strength, His wisdom and His love. So, He wisely puts us through the paces. As Job said, "But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10 Pastor Piper indeed has a ministry that God prepared him for, and which is blessing countless people now. In Heaven, Pastor Piper will forget the pain of this earth and only rejoice in the joy of Heaven. But earth is our battleground. And remember - Christ Jesus went through hell, so we wouldn't have to.
