Still rocking with the OG UE Boom over here too, but I have to agree I agree moving to USB-C charging would be a game changer for us! I am loving the color way of the Boom 4!

Great video! I have the Boom 2 and I've had a similar experience to yours with your Boom. I'm finally upgrading for exactly the same reason as you, USB-C. My default option was going to be the Boom 4, but I've been holding off on purchasing, waiting for comparisons with other speakers in it's segment. Would love to see it VS new Beats Pill and Sonos Roam 2

I still have my OG UE Boom and my original "Big Jambox" - both have lasted me very well over the years and both still sound amazing today and oddly with the original battery in both.

I made the same experiences with my old Boom :) Since the battery life isnt the best anymore, I ordered a Megaboom 3 only to find out it doesnt have USB C 💀 Boom 4 is the way to go i guess

I’ve also had my boom for a decade and love it to pieces. Your experience matches my own. I’m really curious to know if the microphone quality has increased in the boom 4. My one basically isn’t usable as a mic because it sounds so muffled. I’m looking to upgrade and thought about the Bang&Olufsen Beosound a1 2nd gen, but one of the reviews on here highlighted its poor mic quality. Surely one of these really nice bluetooth speakers also has a mic that is usable!
