I classify into the second (Since I am an idiot, I decided to grind blox fruit to see how bad it is, I got max level, cursed dual katana, GodHuman, soul guitar, dragon 3 times, leopard 2 times, and more.) Also...for the things people say are fun, THEY ARE NOT FUN. PvP is either use trash fruit get 1 shot OR use good fruit get called a spammer, the "puzzles and riddles" consist of googling and watching yt vids, WHO would unlock race v4 without a guide? (I say this with cyborg v4 maxed and human v4 base) the raids are so boring that everyone pays each other with fruits so that they get carried, what the heck? The sea raids are awful, seabeasts take forever to spawn, mirage only spawns when it would screw you over to see it spawn, kitsune island? There's always a terrorshark that spawns right before a kitsune island, on the off chance you get a kitsune island, you probably get useless rewards, leviathan is just PAIN. I won't waste my time ranting about blox fruit, THE GRIND WASTED ENOUGH TIME. I even had to buy a gamepass, the game pass was bought with THE ONLY ROBUX I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. I HAVE NOT AND DON'T CURRENTLY PLAN ON GETTING MORE. Man the gamepass screwed me over and I screwed myself over, WHY DID I BUY IT???

I mess around in studio in my spare time and I've noticed a lot of things. that messed up animation, with the monkey smashing its arms, is due to the animation creator neglecting to select that limb while creating the animation, a very amateurish mistake. the circle that appears on reset (example: 31:00) is a very odd shape because that's what happens when you declare a SpecialMesh, convert it into a sphere, and set the dimensions to 1-1-1. (the proper circle dimensions are 3-10-6). there's much more that I neglected to mention since I'm using this as background audio, but every time I alt tab, I see something else wrong. truly speaking of the level of care this game has

i thought it was just a sphere part with the forcefeild texture stretched up alot because everyone in this game is like 9 studs tall (a normal r6 roblox character is around 5.6 studs tall) it would be slightly more excusable if it wasnt their first time making games but im pretty sure they made elemental battle grounds (explains the p2w in that game) and a couple others those have complex animations and they STILL made these mistakes which is pretty funny

I can’t believe that Eclipse decided to sacrifice his mental health playing Blox Fruit Edit: Here's why I think Blox Fruit is bad. The game is extremely repetitive. You just go to island, get quest, beat up npc, level up. You just endlessly do that until you're max level. There are a few things that you do that deviate from this but in the end the game is just an infinite grind where you gain nothing in the end except hours of your life lost. The npcs and bosses are all the same. Most if not all npcs just walk you and punch you. The bosses are essentially the same except they have more hp and have some extra moves. The fruit grind is even worse. The main way you get better fruits is from talking to a guy every 2 hours or whatever it is and pray it is a good fruit. The only other way is if you trade your fruits or just buy them with gamepasses. To trade for good fruits you have to have good fruits and the only way to get them is from the random fruit dealer. You could also pray that the fruit you are looking for will be in shop and buy it with in-game money but that's about the only way. The pvp is the game is essentially first one to hit them wins by getting one shot if you're bullying lower level people, or get someone in a combo that is impossible to escape. Also if you aren't max level you don't even stand a chance in the end. Now I can't really say too much about this since when I did play I wasn't max level in 3rd sea I couldn't pvp but from what other people are saying, it doesn't seem fun. As I mentioned, I played till I realized I was wasting my life in the 3rd sea and quit. I already had a fully awakened mochi and after that I just had to get max level. I then lost all motivation since I realized I was wasting my time getting to max level. The only thing that got me to play for that long was that my friends were playing too, but after they also got there good fruits they also lost motivation to play as well. All of what I said before was out of experience except the PVP part. Blox Fruit is a game. There is content, but extremely repetitive content with no reward in the end. If you enjoy the grind and enjoy the game, good for you. Nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed my time playing until I didn't. I'm just voicing my complaints about the game. Also if you think, imagine spending your time typing all of that, 1 not even a lot just a few paragraphs even a 5th grader could do, 2 in the end its just Blox Fruit why so mad

As someone who has unfortunely grinded blox fruits, The only times I actually had fun were when I got a rare fruit (for like 2 hours), When I fully awakened a fruit (for like a hour), and when I got to 3rd sea. 3rd sea was WAY more enjoyable then 2nd and 1st. But, 3rd sea is a insane grind too, not just because level but also because of what you have to do to spawn bosses and also get weapons. RACE V4 is probably the most annoying thing to do in the whole game if you dont have friends. Over all, Blox fruits is a shit cashgrab that somehow succeed'd and got WAY more players then it should have.

Even at max level, the game is sometimes just flat out miserable. If you thought early game was painful, don’t ever get into the high level game period ever. The trading economy/market is run by the community which mostly consist of 12-15 year olds who base an entire fruits value not by general enjoyment or even use, but what’s being used by a KZbinr one week and then the next week. PVP is sometimes bad but when you get used to it can be fun. As a basis, you’re totally right, the early game grind is flat out terrible which just makes the game horrible. The main problem is the fact to *have* run you have to be in a specific area later in the game which is horrible design Good video nonetheless

The game's not good, but it can be made better assuming the developers aren't using their immense amounts of money to do absolutely freaking nothing like they are right now. Y'know, make the game *significantly* less grindy, make the combat like genuinely decent and unique-feeling, add interactive dialogue and interesting mechanics... The devs takes around 6 months for an update for the third sea if they had to update every sea it's going to take them a year and a half. 20 hours seems dumb it's completely unrealistic just from this I can tell you only watched the video and you didn't play the game. The next time you try to comment on something please research even a bit I do admit the first sea needs a complete revamp but on the other hand the second sea has way too much content that it becomes a problem. It's not just all grinding raids are a thing v2 and v4 are also a thing there's at least 12 different fruits you can awaken which alone already add lots of content.

I've spent more than 10 hours on the game, and I'm only level 400. Slightly over the half-way mark. And it's not like I'm being slower than most either, I'm going at a practically completely regular pace. @@midnight-envy The difference in Blox Fruits is the enemy ai having the intelligence of a jellyfish suffering from lead poisoning, having to grind for hours on killing the same enemy reskins while in souls games it takes not only skill to grind but you could even progress to other areas if you're good enough and despite it's difficulties, ITS FUN. Blox Fruits don't know how to make their grind enjoyable like in other games like God of War or hyucking Doom because of their satisfying combat and enemy variety something Blox Fruits will never have. That's why I quit myself when I realize that the level cap jumped to 2400. it's an embarrassment that 500k people still play this garbage if they could play something fun.

Holding W and spamming my z, x, c, v, f keys are truly one of the most entertaining and productive things you can possibly do in your lifetime. Why go out and touch grass when you can play Fruit Game? Fruit Game provides all the necessary human interaction you need. Honestly, the devs is just more focused on the future a.k.a the third sea, since the majority of the players are already at the very end of the game, not to mention most of the things in the first and 2nd sea is already figured out, like tutorial vids, and most easy to fix things like the unaligned ladder, and the boss not being able to get up the stairs is just glossed over since it doesn't have any practical usage.

The devs released an OP transformation (to this day it is still very busted) but it was locked behind an EXTREMELY cryptid message and puzzle that was super grindy. The ENTIRE COMMUNITY (at the time 500k+ players) spent THREE (I think) WHOLE MONTHS trying to figure out the puzzle and no one got past the first part of it because it was that difficult. The only reason why we figured out the puzzle was because the devs had to give us the answers because they can't create a simple riddle for a kids game.

After trying out the game. Yeah, most of it is do X thing for number of Y times. Then go to Z place and do the process again. There are some side quests like the abilities that require exploration. Obtaining different items or engaging in naval warfare. The most fun I had in this game was randomly fighting other players. The dude pulls out a gun, and I punch him to death. Or steal a ship and use it against a flying ship. But the base game is little to have fun. Unless you organize events.

Gonna be honest, Yes, the game is grind after grind after grind. You grind levels and once you hit max level you start grinding for Fighting styles and swords and once you`re done with that, there`s maybe one or two puzzles you can solve and then all that`s left to do is PvP with nothing to gain but a number next to your name in the leaderboard that gets higher with each kill. But at the same time, I do have to admit that it`s kinda nice to just put on some music in the backround and turn off your brain if youre looking for something to occupie yourself

I've played blox fruits alot with my friends, and had alot of fun, but I completely agree with you lmao. All of the fun I have had was just getting really overpowered stuff with my friend and then killing sweats who's entire personality is based on their blox fruits skill and watching them rage so hard in the chat XD. Even when you do get to max level and can start grinding the bosses with decent drops, all you can do at that point after getting your stuff is pvping. The bosses never get better and imo get alot worse as the bosses are just heavily buffed versions of a op fruit that makes it so you practically have to play with other people to beat them. The pvp also is extremely bad as you almost can't do anything against teamers, and people who have played the game longer will most likely have an objective non skill advantage over you because of how bounty (which you have to pvp for if you want bounty over 2.5 million) increases your dmg and defense. (sorry for the long comment lol I'm just letting out my anger at my 9 yr self for spending over 10k robux on such a bad game)

When the compas showing you where to go for the next quest was first added, when tracking the whirpool island it showed you the out of bounds actual island instead of the whirpool. I sailed for about 2 hours and travelled for about 16000 meters to get there just to find an invisible wall outside that wouldnt let me in. To those who have limited knowledge of blox fruits, I can fill you in. Most of the players either have no life to grind OR use macro/hacks to grind. Of course anyone would ask, "Why?! What's the point of the game if you just use hacks?". The answer would be for the endgame, the pvp. Anyone would say that that's stupid. Yes, yes it is. The PVP is a preference, there's games with a block system, a dodging system. But no No! Blox fruit does not have those system. What does blox fruit's PvP have? Moving at hyperspeed like you're some crack addict with your opponent doing the same, dodging each other attacks without requiring any skill BESIDE mashing WASD and Q to dash, waiting for the 30 seconds cooldown to be over just so you can repeat the same exact combo. The reason people find it so fun is due to their attention span, the fights end either so fast which benefits their short attention span OR the fights end so long but they're filled with such adrenaline because they're like monkeys being given rocks to throw, but instead of rocks, its buttons to mash.

As someone who is max level (I quit the game and regret every nanosecond I've spent in it) everything you said in this video was correct. The level grind is always the same even in 2nd and 3rd sea. Game never gets good, the only reason kids play this game is because it's easy, free and based on one of the most popular anime of all time. A lot of people say that they play it because of the PvP which is just ''Spam braindead high dmg moves until enemy dies'' there's no block/parry system.

Its easy at first but at end game its much more complex especially to unlock things like some of the swords, v4 races and its a fair pvp in my opinion its true that the 1 shot comobs are not very nice but u can just be the one that does it, and i like pvp cuz it takes alot of space and movement wich i love

Eclipse, I think you should actually try out deepwoken. I genuinely think you will like it. It costs 400 robux, but it definitely worth it. It is the best game on roblox for sure, nothing even comes close(maybe GPO, but GPO is just blox fruits with better effects and better pvp). The amount of work deepwoken devs put into it in insane, btw this game won latest roblox game of the year award and I think most innovative game award(im not sure if it exists). Basically, this is open world rpg perma death game and its hard as hell and for that reason takes a lot of skill. Main point of the game is pvp, but the pve aspect is not bad too. Also this game has great lore, its really unique. So as a pve player, you can chill and enjoy lore and explore open world(until you get ganked by some players with shiny enchanted weapons removing your hp bar in 2 hits).

I keep coming back to this video because I find it ridiculously amusing that Eclipse's POV is entirely accurate in portraying how little the game does to hook you. And the best part? It only gets worse as you progress. Bounty hunters constantly jumping you in 2nd and 3rd Sea when you're just trying to grind and maybe get to a point you could have fun. Scripters always stealing kills and making things take even longer (Sidenote: The general community considers using scripts to be the best way to grind, from what I can tell, but it just as easily can and will be used for PVP as well. Don't try to defend it, that shit just sucks). All of the NPCs are boring and offer nothing engaging aside from maybe throwing out one generic move. If you wanna talk about the parts people defend though, let's talk the combat. More specifically, let's talk the combat's balance. Starting off strong here, Mochi, or Dough if you're one of those weirdos who somehow thinks that's a better name (Personally, I just call it the Coom fruit, because that's all it looks like to me). Ever since Mochi got its awakening, it has consistently been considered one of the strongest fruits in the entire game for almost anything, which means there are a FUCKLOAD of people pining after it like some sort of holy grail, or flooding chat with annoying messages asking people to help them awaken it. Let me just get down to brass tacks here, Mochi is NOT a fruit that requires skill to use despite what you might hear. All you have to do is press 3-4 fucking buttons and your opponent dies, possibly less depending on the circumstances. And nowadays, all the devs have been doing when they aren't sitting on their asses and ghosting the community about updates is adding ridiculous Zoan fruits that only mess the balance up even MORE. The entire combat "meta" simply boils down to whoever can press their free stun button first. If you wanna talk Zoan fruits that are way too ridiculous (And before someone tries to tell me it's a skill issue, I have both used and fought AGAINST people who use these fruits), Leopard is probably one that immediately springs to mind. Its moves are so fast that reacting to them at close range without just pressing E to turn on Observation (Which doesn't even work all the time) is completely pointless because you're going to get hit anyway. Even with all of that privilege, I've made users of those fruits RAGEQUIT because their brain suddenly evaporates when you start outranging them (Light main btw, talk shit as you will). Oh, and my final gripe about balance, the races. Namely, their Awakenings (Or V4s). Mink, Cyborg, and Ghoul seem fine enough from what I've seen. Shark and Angel, however, HELL NO. Shark V4 makes you effectively unkillable with how much artificial health it gives you, and Angel allows for overly easy counterplay to most of the current meta (Which I personally don't give a shit about. Keep complaining, sweatlords, it's hilarious). But easily the WORST part about this game is, in fact...the devs. I can't speak for their history since the game's inception when it was still called Blox Piece, but in modern day, these motherfuckers are honestly some of the LAZIEST devs I've heard of. Or, at least, they sure make it look that way. Their last update to the game as of this comment being made was Part 1 of the Christmas update of 2023, in which the game's first subclass was added along with yet ANOTHER pointless Zoan fruit in the form of T-Rex. After that dropped, everything suddenly fell into complete radio silence for several months while they did...whatever it is they do. Their top priority right now seems to be reworking Dragon, but even that has seemingly been delayed countless times when they said it would be finished in the same month they dropped the Christmas update. They still haven't said ANYTHING (To my knowledge) about the map reworks, adding more ways to level up, the new trading system, the crew system rework, etc. All the while, they're still pushing out fruits with Robux costs that equal around 30- 50 fucking dollars. And the worst part is, people (Myself included btw, don't you dare think for a SECOND that I don't have a major invested stake in this game, no matter how much I wish I didn't now) just continue to eat it up because the game is so content starved that everyone just wants to keep enjoying New Toy Syndrome than actually hound the devs to be a bit more proactive. Closing thoughts? This game is still in a terrible spot, and despite what potential it might still have, there is no evidence that tells me the devs truly want to capitalize on it as much as they can. I've already reached the level cap and wasted hours of my time trying to glean potential fun out of this game, but nowadays I only ever check in on it to see if it's been updated whatsoever. No amount of flashy VFX or particles is gonna mask the fact that all the devs seem to care about now is draining people's wallets. Maybe when they start being more considerate of the community outcry, I can start considering it at least decent again. Right now though? Absolutely not, I could be sitting there AFK watching something on KZbin and having more fun. Eclipse, as someone who only recently found your content, I'm glad there's someone out there that cares enough to call out the bad practices of modern Roblox devs and saying it straight. I hope this channel keeps going and blows the fuck up, because this is the kind of kick in the pants that people need to see that Roblox just isn't what it used to be anymore.

After seeing your review on Swordburst 3 recently, I was reminded of how I wasted an entire weekend trying to catch up to brainwashed friends (that have since seen the game for the pile of rubbish it is), and how I radiated pure, unfiltered misery by the time I begrudgingly got to the second sea and found out that I have to keep grinding 8 NPC quests for 2 whole more seas before the game supposedly gets 'good'. The legitimate only times I was having fun were when people under or at mine and friends' levels would come to challenge us thinking they were the main character, it was hilarious. But thats not the game, thats just idiocy at its finest, and I know that for a fact. I can say without a doubt that Blox Fruits is the worst game I have ever played. This game and the series its based on - One Piece - haunt me in the wake of dawn and after dark to no end. I legitimately believe within a year or two of experience on my game development course I could craft an experience that looks like angel dust compared to this sorry excuse for a game. I tried so, so hard to enjoy this game, seriously. I tried everything. I was unable to find anything. I even grinded during that weekend - I didn't have to deal with stream snipers or portal fruits or fruit dropping. I had genuine friends willing to help me. And despite all of that, I could find no reason to keep going. Nothing. Thank you for reading my ramblings - I just wanted to vent my frustrations at this game so badly and so I literally came looking for a video like this. And thank you Eclipse for legitimizing my hatred of this game.

As an OP fan who is max level and is currently on the grind to max bounty, I gotta say: - the time to grind levels was a couple years ago, when I started. Practically no hackers, I got lucky and found the ice logia fruit at like level 15, which made grinding super easy, and a lot more people were around my level. - Back then, the max level was like, 1,200-1,300 so getting to max wasn’t a monumental tax. - - Dough awakened, leopard, venom, portal, dragon, awakened Buddha, and most other annoying fruits didn’t exist. - nowadays, the game far favors higher level players (example being how easy you can evade portal at higher levels). Max level players get access to the majority of the game’s new content. - If I had started nowadays, I don’t think I would’ve kept up for very long.
