I dont play rust but I enjoy the videos you make a lot, its interesting seeing how the guns combat and base building works

I *want* to play Rust but the community is just so terrible. I love the gun combat and base building but I hate the metas with them. Like not using stairs and instead making weird platformer puzzles in your own base is just stupid to me. The bit where you can sneak on and off as well to move fast without making noise is annoying. So, similar to you, I end up just watching videos and wishing I could play without all the toxicity and irritating mechanics.

@Eventide215 yeah, that's another thing about rust, you spend hours and hours building a base, then it gets destroyed while you are sleeping, and then while you are restarting, a lot of clans will snipe you

@@ConsumerOfBEANS Yeah It's why I enjoy Conan exiles a whole lot more. You can't really snipe people from like miles away. I know on Rust "medieval" servers are a thing where you can't get advanced guns at all, but that's just boring having to lock off a whole section of the game. I also don't mind being raided but offlining is irritating. Though at least on Rust building a base is pretty easy it's the blueprints that really matter which stay with you so it's not bad if you have to restart a base, but like you said then you keep getting sniped off by all the players with better loot as you can even see here in this video. Generally when I do try to play I have a mentality where I'm friendly until given reason not to be.
