The 1987 - 1989 models have J-Arms . The 1990 - 2005 models have A-Arms . The only difference from 1990 - 2005 models is different colors and graphics . The engine and chassis is the same from many years ago . The banshee has always been the top of the line fastest quad especially on flat track race courses .

you gotta look for cracks in the frame from being jumped, and stress cracks around the rear grab bar...run your finger under the grab bar to check for rash to see if its been wheelied. I also check out the skid plate to see if its been crunched up around the swing arm. I also check the motor to see if its been rattle canned...most people don't take the time to take the bolts out of the motor before painting it and they are usually a different color. So if your bolts and motor are all one color, chances are its not OEM

I grew up with a 1997 banshee, traded my yellow plastics with a 96, so he had all yellow and mine was all red. That Banshee pretty much raised me, Spent more time with it more than my family. Obviously the Banshee is amazing, but the popularity in them now is also because those were amazing years to be alive, and seeing a banshee brings back those memories for people, like a time machine.

They are only original once! Nice bikes, but i have to say some clean banshees will have bottom scratches because alot of areas have low shrubs that scratch the bottom easily, rest of the bike could be clean
