@@maryellencook9528It is worth noting that full front and back plates were just becoming common during the latter portion of the 14th century. Usually they would have a full mail hauberk which would cover their back and then a solid front breastplate for armor like this.

Just imagine the astonishing amount of work of making thousands of rings, assembling and riveting them. Plates were even more costly to make, especially in the beginning. Eventually so much armour was made, that more people could afoord it.

We used to make it from 8mm spring steel washers but now you can get a mail shirt from India that has 20,000 rings all hand riveted and all for appx £200 !

14:53 ( accidental castillon ) Knights often had a polearm, sword, mace and dagger Also often had a one handed sword or comicly large dagger You almost never ran out of weapons Also often in a battle some would ditch the visor with some hanging a chin plate from the side horns

Could I survive a day in medieval armor? Easily. Its weight and such is far more distributed than the Interceptor Body Armor with ballistic plates we had to wear in the Army. Modern soldiers can go days and weeks in modern armor and medieval armor would be a cakewalk in comparison. Knights and Men-at-Arms also didn't have to carry a 20lbs machine gun and 80lbs of gear in a rucksack either.

there is a bit of a mixture of different armour styles going on the chainmail was not very common at agicourt it was worn more during the transition period at crecy when plate armour was starting to become widespread but was still not the full suits of later.
