I am beyond happy to see BR get some love. You can probably imagine how difficult it is to get new people interested in it since the Battle Royale tags on any social media are now flooded with Fortnite and and any other battle royal inspired media.

I've heard the tokyopop editions are badly translated, it takes a lot of liberties with the plot and background.

I recommend something short thats 7 volumes like A Silent Voice or 3 days of happiness that is 3 volumes (btw don’t eead 3 days of happiness unless you wanna end up depressed) choose really short mangas for your first manga I started on Death Note which is 11 Volumes
