I spent my birthday overlanding in Japan! It was our first time to do it and I AM SO IN LOVE! I am now obsessively looking for something like it for the future. Lol This video is a little change of pace from all of our other videos. We're not really showcasing anything but just taking you along with us on my birthday weekend. I hope you guys like it!

Wishing you a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY Hana. What a cool way to celebrate your birthday in a cool vehicle and a great campsite. Waking up to sunrise over Mt Fuji must have been great. And Mt Fuji looked fabulous. (One of my favourite fountain pens is the Platinum 3776 which I'm sure you know is the height of Mt Fuji😁) It's funny isn't it how even the most simple food tastes so good when you've cooked it yourself outdoors? @@whatchuHANAdo It was named after Mt Fuji. Apparently it was named for the height of Mt Fuji, Japan's highest peak, to show that this pen was the highest peak of fountain pens. It's certainly a nice pen (me thinks).😁

Finally the vid came out! Glad you liked the experience. The timing of this video is so spot on. Most of my recent recommendations in YT are van life, overlander builds, and tiny homes. I had to double check if this vid was old coz I swear I saw it already haha

Not sure if she does collabs (and she's not in Japan now I think) but eh, one can dream. That viewdeck placement is... interesting. I do a bit of photography, and a south-facing deck (ie Mt. Fuji to the south) might have a potential for a specific shot I want to take. Also - I KNEW that accent sounded familiar. Mabuhay, at sana may matino na sisig sa paligid ninyo. @@whatchuHANAdo the Milky Way core rises to the south starting late March. Depending on the light pollution it might be possible to take a photo such that the Milky Way is behind Mt. Fuji. And *that* is a sexy picture, yeah?
