Baskets have long been used to organize the storage of various items and things. This is a popular product in stores, they are sold in different sizes and made from all kinds of materials.
But still, there is not always exactly the exact size that is needed.
Do-it-yourself textile baskets look homely and cozy. In addition, this is financially beneficial, because the price of the baskets is quite expensive.
I always liked models with cells inside. I looked at Fix Price many times to see how they were sewn and now the puzzle was solved.
How to sew:
I used this pattern. You will need two types of fabric and non-woven or double-lined fabric for rigidity. First the lattice is sewn.
It requires 2 pieces each, 33x20 cm and 22x20 cm. I folded these pieces in half and smoothed the interlining on one side. I stitched along the sides and turned right side out.
- The open cut was treated with 6 cm wide trim.
- I divided the long planks into 3 sections: 11.5 cm, 8 cm, 11.5 cm.
- Short - one side 11.5 cm and 8.5 cm, the other 8.5 cm and 11.5 cm
Compound:
- I placed a short one on the long bar with a mark of 8 cm and stitched it.
- Under the first long strip I placed a second long strip, shifting the 11.5 cm marks both here and there, and stitched it.
- I placed a short one under the second long bar, aligning the 11.5 cm marks, and stitched it.
- The side part 33.5x13 cm was lined out from the middle by 8 cm, leaving 0.7 cm at the edge for the seams.
- I divided the part 23.5x13 cm into 2 parts.
- I attached the lattice to the side parts, connecting them on 4 sides at the corners with each other.
- I stitched the bottom to the basket.
- I pressed the facing fabric onto the double fabric 56x46 cm, cut out 12x12 cm squares in the corners and joined them with a stitch.
- Placed both parts of the basket with the wrong sides inside.
- I sewed rope handles to the short side.
- I finished the edge with tape.
Ready!

Convenient separation will prevent socks or other things from getting mixed up!
