You've certainly helped with other baker's techniques. The home bakers are told to line the Cake edge with baking paper, you manage to get all the loose frosting.

When you put your finger through the cake again😮 Im sorry but i had to laugh when you kept going to lift the other cakes up, then your remembered and stopped yourself and went for the spatula to get them off the turntable. I have learned so much from watching this video. The next cake I decorate I am going to do the no comb method. Is it really just American buttercream that you use all the time, it looks so creamy and spreadable❤😊. Those cakes look amazing, I realized as I was watching your video that you don’t use grease proof cake boards, you put the cake right on the gold cake board, that is something else I am going to do.

That's how you do it! I've been watching your videos for awhile because it's nice to see another baker who doesn't swear by a crumb coat or go over the top with buttercream and decoration. I'm just a home baker who occasionally takes a commission, but there's still a lot of pressure to do everything perfectly and to make super-fancy decorations. The bar is TOO HIGH sometimes. Also, happy belated birthday! (I thought for sure you were in your 30s based on your skill level, but you're just wise beyond your years. And if I'm doing my math correctly, you and my nephew were born on the same day, oddly enough.)

Yes! These are always to-go cakes for the storefront so I need to be consistent with the simplicity and style!
