Where was the fairness and objectiveness when other players were banned for the same things? 😔
@FabioSangiorgi-vu5eg3 ай бұрын
Every case is different and unique. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever to compare different cases. Halep for instance could not explain where the contamination came from. If you were charged with an assassination and you were innocent and declared as such, I am pretty confident you wouldn't fancy people to claim "where was the fairness and objectiveness when others offenders were charged for the same thing?" If you don't trust the judges then try to challenge them but don't just believe you are better than them.

I am actually astonished by the amount of backlash Sinner is getting. A lot of it seems to be on the basis that he got preferential treatment which, if you look at what the rules and processes are, he didn't. The good fortune was that the source was quickly identified as he was able to appeal..there is also a lot of misinformation and sheer ignorance of the facts swirling around. Of course people are free the disbelief the explanation offered but, after thorough investigation by the ITIA and the process of the hearing, it was accepted and the no blame outcome given. So I am sorry all you armchair judge, jury, and lynch mob types, that is how the system works.

Each case is different and the burden of proof for innocence lies with the player. Halep was not able to prove how and when she got contaminated plus the quantity fund was noticeable . There is also another player: mostly unknown by many: Marco Bortolotti, a doubles player then above 100 in the rankings (currently 87), was tested last october during the Lisbon Challenger and tested positive for Clostebol. He is not #1 neither millionaire, a very similar case to Sinner who was judged the same way.

Thanks for the opinion. According to my understanding the serious problem is how to manage the "contamination" case that, according to science (as in this case), clearly doesn't affect the performance and that are created by the tecnology now able to detect the infinitesimal part of a proihibited substance. If the science is able to state that well under a certain limit there's no impact on performance, why the tecnology detects the substance whith such a useless depth ? Than it's easy to be banned / sanctioned if you are not able to prove the origin of the contamination. But imagine if the quantity is so small that you don't know the origin. The process has to be reviewed for contamination cases wheh infinitesimal quantities are detected.
@TheFlowMind3 ай бұрын
If the quantity is so small it shouldn't even be considered a problem. Going to that depth can also be helpful in cases where there are multiple drugs taken at the same time. For instance, Kamila Valieva the figure skater had trimetazidine and she used the 'accidental exposure'' excuse. However, the exams showed she also had L-carnitine and another drug that (both non-banned) helps with heart functions. It was clear at that point that the combination of the three was clearly intentional.

My point is that you can get stronger without lifting weights. Climbers or calisthenics is the perfect example. These people are much stronger compared to most bodybuilders or lifters when you measure their strenght per bodyweight. These people never train with weights but with their own bodyweight. But of course every body is unique and requires a specific approach. I will look up the article.

@@CzechTennisGuy As I stated any stress will act as a stimulus. However one should not be about 'any stress' but an efficient and effective use of stress-time hence Barbells in the Gym using Starting Strength method. But for Lifters in general what you have stated this is not correct. They are way stronger. Think about it - Who is stronger? A guy who swings around monkey bars or up a cliff but cannot lift more than his bodyweight vs The lifter who can Squat 200kg and Deadlift 250kg ? Its obviously the second guy. Now you just have to apply that to tennis players which is what a few already do or have done. I would also call into question the claim that climbers do not lift. The article is quite good. Starting Strength is a great method and based in Applied Physics to Human Anatomy and Sports Performance.

My thoughts Honestly? The whole situation is both as trivial/unsurprising as it is ridiculous as it is telling in 3 ways which I will mention later. The 'topic' is so contrived with a number of WOWSER(people who are easily wowed by anything and enjoy this) youtubers that I have completely avoided commenting on this topic, but you make a video so why not comment. This will be a 'long' comment but those are the best ones I think.. Straight away its just obviously absurd that theUSofA jumps to attack Jannik like this(nearly all of the original articles and youtubers attacking Jannik are Yankees or Canadians) and that there can be any decision let alone punishment when there is an absence of any global singular ruling on this matter. I can guarantee you that there is probably things allowed in theUSofA or elsewhere that may be not sanctioned / banned within Europa However It should not be a shocking discovering that the top elite athletes not just in 2024 but since many decades in ENDLESS SPORTS have been using ALL MANNER of PED's and the commonly known steroids. Infact there is sports where its assumed your taking steroids(powerlifting / strongman). You want to be 'the best'? Than nearly always going to involved PED's of some kind. If you have a goal than your going to achieve it at all costs and there is no shortage of top 100 players who want to do that. I find it hilarious how the Lying-media launch from their Labelling plant - 'cheater', 'doping' like elite pro level sports including tennis is some kind of Natural Living untainted sport. What is ridiculous is the Lying-'media' tactics and dont forget this is the same bunch of criminal$ who were pushing needles of a 'covid'vaxx kind which has murdered 20+million globally, maimed millions more and with even New Zealand recording 3000%+ rise in excess deaths attributable to 'covid'deathjab$ or 5,200+ people dead in a year. One moment injections are used as blackmail(i.e. Losing jobs, ability to travel, entering places..) if you dont take the deadly kind(what happened 2021-22) and then used to wipe ones name in mud and also blackmail if one takes the PED kind. They have everyone become so NAIVE to believe elite sports especially tennis would never touch PEDs and then the next moment they rapidly point the finger to a new no.1. Maybe its just a coincidence but is it not interesting how the moment you have a new no.1 or a dominant player suddenly they must be 'taking steroids' and either a bogus claim emerges or its an exaggeration? Literally we heard the SAME thing against Alcaraz but its been worked out at some point that he is the new 'good boy' of tennis . There is endless accusations levelled at Rafa and then Murray and even Novak became a target.. As a result the player is punished and then either he is instructed to or reacts to the situation by firing staff or doing some cringy 'campaign against PEDs / 'cheaters' As you rightly say these are critical staff who have helped Jannik and $320 000 USD is no small amount of money with even 400 ATP points being more than what many players will ever gain. But is this not just some kind of Sacrifice-Theatre? An image for the 'public' and I think the Amerikaner public who have no top 10 player and probably at odds to understand after many years why a young Tiroler like Jannik can just emerge and become no.1 Think about it- Jannik's 'reputation' has taken a battering with this, he has lost a lot of money, now lost 2 key staff and all would be safe to reason he would be the ultimate anti-doping guy of all time. With this image of Jannik taking action, it then becomes the perfect cover for his Manager to keep doing 'steroids' and other PEDs. I have hypothesised if this is all like a 'rite of passage' once a player becomes solidified at the top? Jannik was wrongly treated and should not have lost a $ or atp point and certainly not sacked his 2 staff. Nil articles should have been written on this but this is what happens when there is hyper-tabloid nonsense and especially whenever the nothings called 'professional journalists' are around who should be doing actual physical work. Regarding SINNER it is very telling of how low intelligence and linguistic / cultural knowledge has dropped especially in the 'English' speaking world. SINNER is a German name and is from Middle High German. It has NIL relation to religion or the silly notion of 'sins'. Infact Sinn in German means 'to make sense'. Das macht Sinn / Das hatt Sinn is a saying. Sinner comes from Signer which the French have in common. The Franconians left a impression on Southern Deutschland which by chance Tyrol is part of... The fact they even make fun of his last name tells you the level of their mindset What is telling about this is the Lying-media how they build this facade and theatre, how the tennis 'public' naively believes things and a final thing that everyone misses. Why are 'steroids' sought after? - Because they enhance your performance. They dont make your performance but they build upon it. What is the foundations of performance - Strength / Projection of Force.Always in tennis training it is often sidelined that players should be doing to make them Stronger. How do you get stronger? You squat, bench, press and deadlift. Yet what does one see instead? Trainers playing around with players in the gym not doing anything meaningful. Perhaps if there was more a focus on getting stronger than there would be a less need to fill that gap with injections. And if people 'understood things' there would be no controversy at all.!..
@CzechTennisGuy3 ай бұрын
I agree with some parts of your comment and with some parts not. Especially with the strenght building and physical training. Tennis is not bodybuilding or strongmen. In the gym, players build explosive strenght and speed. You don't need weight for that. Zero weights. You need resistance bands, medicinballs and other more sofisticated tools. But for most of the times, training with your own bodyweight is enough. You need to train more smart than heavy. On the doping in tennis. I strongly believe that tennis is one the most clean sports out there. As I said before - you don't need to be best sprinter, best bodybuilder, best strongmen etc. to play tennis. And that's why there is no need to maximize your performance by using steroids. Tennis is also about longevity and that is build only with hard work. Take me as an example. I started working part time job as a gardener 1,5 years ago. I gained so much strenght and power from this job I wasn't able to gain my whole life because I was playing only tennis and sitting behind a desk in my office work. Now at 40 years I'm stronger and I play better than before. And of course I use supplements like creatin, HMB, vitamins, proteins. This is also wildly used by professionals and it works and it's enough to boost your performance, create muscle mass, enhance dexterity, speed, etc. You don't need steroids at all. Zero. Just work hard, eat well, sleep well and that's enough what you need. I don't think that any of the TOP 10 players in the last 20 years took steroids. With all the testing that is happening on a daily basis it would be just very dangerous for their careers to even try them.

There is no 'explosive strength' just strength. How is Speed generated? From an Applied Force. How do you apply a force? ' resistance bands, medicinballs and other more sofisticated tools' All of that is meaningless and useless- unless your warming up the body with a band. ' But for most of the times, training with your own bodyweight is enough' Its not. But again I will leave this for you to research on this further Training Heavy and Intense in a exact manner is smart. ' I started working part time job as a gardener 1,5 years ago. I gained so much strength and power from this job' Any stimulus can provide a stress adaptation to your body. 'steroids' What does steroids do again? It increases strength which in turn increases explosivity. Thats why they are seeking it out. Steroids is just another type of PED. ALL the players will be on PED of some kind. So why is this? Strength. And as we know all the Organisations can be bought and paid for in all sports and are corrupt to the highest(i.e. IOC allowing 2 biological men to fight women in boxing recently despite the actual boxing association not allowing them to do so previously) so who knows what really goes on with testing

That's just how my body works best - short and intense sessions. But I guess everyones body is different and reacts differently. To gain mass you have to train heavy of course, but that's not what a tennis player needs. Most of the players nowadays actually lose bodyweight in favour of explosive power. Big muscles = strong, but slow. And it's not good for the joints either. Regarding the organizations bought and paid. I still have faith in tennis that remains clear from these corruptions. This weird answers like "we don't know all the details" etc. are showing that he is just afraid to stand behind his own opinion. Alcaraz should grow up and make clear statements based on all the info that is publicly available, which is enough to say it loud and clear. It is not allowed to use it as a professional tennis player. The package clearly states that that using it by professionals may lead to doping problems. The problem is widely know in Italy. The team of Sinner should have known it. They get these lists regularly. Furthermore, it is not the most typical use of this spray to use it for wounds caused by a knife. It is typically used if one has skin-abrasions. Finally, Sinner should have fired to relevant team members after the incident. What speaks in favour of him is that he was tested positive twice, and maybe needed some time to find out what happened.
