Hey man, PLEASE do a video on the tax and how you claim it. Do you keep receipts? Do you claim postage? This is one thing everyone you inspire thinks about. And no ebay youtuber talk about it. People need to know and you're our guy!

Of course you can claim postage. It's a cost of the business. You can also claim fuel travelling around sourcing items to sell. The cost of the items you sell. Plus lots more. There is heaps you can claim

Hi Matt . Great video. I have a question. How do you calculate shipping for international sales? I only ship in Australia and want to go global.

Using the eBay calculated method is easiest. eBay changes the buyer the correct price based on location they're in

Hello, love watching your videos, just wondering in terms of sell through rate, do you have like a minimum sell through rate you'd go for? or do you just go off 100%+ sell through rate to be sure the item will sell? thanks : )
@TheAussieFlipper11 ай бұрын
The higher the better but it also comes down to what’s in front of you too. Opportunity to source stock is different for everyone. If you’re doing it full time maybe you’ve got a little more space and can take a slower sell through rate item knowing it’ll sit for a bit. The most important thing is to be aware of that step in the purchase process. If your part time I’d focus on higher sell through only
@edd147311 ай бұрын

Just grab a whole heap of the best complete sets you can and then talk to the worker at the counter. Most of the time I find that they also think it's absurdly priced, and they'll settle on doing $3-4 a DVD. This is how I've picked up a lot of complete sets that everyone else is just ignoring because the sticker price makes it unjustifiable.

Can I ask why you have the same items (you’ve sourced as part of this series) on your new eBay store also listed on your main/existing store for different prices? I assumed the idea was the sell the items found on your new store only? Please correct me if I’m wrong.
@TheAussieFlipper11 ай бұрын
Good stock is hard to come by to manage 2 stores individually so I’m cross listing into the main store, main store sales don’t count towards the challenge so I remove them out of the second store when they sell. The series is educational the main store is my livelihood, I can’t sacrifice that income for a KZbin video, I hope this makes sense

No quite literally, i don't do it. One of the biggest mistakes I've made over the last 3 years is not receive collections from out the back. I could count on my hands the amount of times it happened for me. I've now noticed stores are dry 24/7 in the categories I like to source so I know this is going on with other sellers. Kicking myself for not doing it after all this time. For real for real. Honest answer.@@TurdFergusonOG
