BLEACH is definitely one of my top 3 Shonen anime mainly for how much charm it has compared to all the other Shonen animes that came around the same time and for having some of the most interesting characters and ideas in general. It's true that some of the early arcs are not well adapted but Thousand Year Blood War arc been so amazing all the way from it's beginning that you easily overlook the minor problems. I did recommended my brother to read the Manga for BLEACH instead of watching and then just to watch the TYBW arc but I hope you'll have a good time with the anime.

@@lazy607 well Kenpachi Zaraki is strongest pure alive shinigami after his bankai mastery but Kenpachi title means Strongest swordsman of gotei 13 not strongest shinigami. Because there were always stronger shinigami present in gotei 13 even when 1 kenpachi was present. Example Yamaji were much stronger than Unohana, Azashiro,Kuruyashiki or Even Zaraki(before bankai).

Bleach is my favorite big 3 and my second favourite Shonen Its so underrated and underestimated in big 3 its has poetic and complex writing and don't spoonfeed like Naruto and op So its not for everyone especially for surface level readers who like to get spoonfeeded 🤷🗣️ And BLEACH og anine had bad anime adaptation so reading it would be better then watching then switch to tybw anime because new anime has goated adaptation of tybw Manga plus haa tons of additional content

Bleach has great story and character but they're written complexed like characters tell their gosls,motivations,reveal things,foreshadow in indirect ways and in their philosophical talk something that is revealed much later in already hinted in the first arcs
