I use to work here and you are correct does connect to a studio. Also you can always ask for more soap etc. I loved working as a housekeeper at this resort. I was in the 60s. And I miss it everyday the staff all help each other out it was a great experience.

We were in the same building in February this year. Disney surprised us and upgraded us from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom which almost never happens for DVC members. We were so thankful and appreciative.

Little tip if you want to walk to Disney Spring but you are at the far end of Saratoga… park in Congress Park and take the path to Springs!

It’s beautiful! The only thing that seems to be missing is a large shower on the master. Most one bedroom villas offer two showers.

If you enjoy the fire cheese presentation, you should go to Big Fire in Universal City Walk. I recommend the smoked old fashioned. The drink is great as is the presentation

We cancelled Saratoga and staying in Boardwalk, Thought I would get to see you and Casey. At Hollywood studios today. Great time! Yesterday at Disney Springs got to have my yearly hot fudge mint chip sundae at Ghiardeli, one scoop ,12$. When did that happen? Ate at Prime Time today, 5 of us 234.00 less our DVC discount, Not bad we all had the POT ROAST. Can’t beat it! Tomorrow I think is MAJIC Kingdom. Nothing like a Disney Vacation!

I am actually a huge Saratoga Springs fan! We stayed in a refurbished 2 bedroom and it was gorgeous! Unpopular opinion but I like shopping and dining at Disney Springs and works for us.

I love Saratoga Springs! It’s my home resort. Plenty of activities and walking distance to Disney Springs. Having the golf course is a added plus. As a family of 5, we always stay in a 1 bedroom. Great video Kyle

I have stayed at this resort multiple times but never in a one bedroom. The one bedroom looks fabulous! If you go back and get preferred ask for Congress Parkway. The walk to DS makes this resort absolutely wonderful.

Back in 1998, my parents took my cousin and me to WDW...we stayed at the townhouses that were there before Saratoga Springs was built. Disney Springs was also called Downtown Disney back then. We could see Downtown Disney from our townhouse. 7 Days until I'm at Bay Lake Tower! 😀

Kyle: I sent you an email. You should consider staying at the newly renovated Hilton Resort at Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista. Rooms start at $109-$340. Many include full kitchens. You really shoo-ins consider doing a blog about best places; just off Disney property to stay. Disney lowest is like $150-$200 all requiring 2 night stays.

Omg! That was our room! But it was 2018 and it looks WAY BETTER now. There actually were shutters over the tub, so you could see out into the master bedroom. Bummer they changed that. I’ll never forget that view from the patio~ absolutely LOVED that fountain and view of the tree houses. Our friends got us the villa and we paid $350/week as they used RCI points. Not sure if RCI is allowed anymore by Disney. Sadly, my 12- yr old was laid up a day from the excessive heat. So Scary! I learned to have groceries delivered by Walmart that year and it was so helpful. Kyle, keep reminding people to use Liquid IV or SOMETHING because it’s no joke, especially coming from dry N Cali. I think it was us going hard at the water parks as well as the theme parks. We do Disney soooo differently now. Thanks for the beautiful Staycation Sunday!!

It’s my dvc home resort since 2005. Shhhh best kept secret. I use it as all quiet after the busy day at the park.I’ve stayed at almost every resort on property, this is my favorite. Be there the end of the month. Ask for paddock building 5. People ask me my favorite ride, I always say the park bench beginning of the bridge to paddock. Lol

As a 20+ year DVC member the refurbishment of SSR was desperately needed. Change is hard. The 1bedroom refurb is gorgeous! Very similar to Riviera for sure. There used to be a opening from the jacuzzi tub to the master bedroom. It was one of our selling points back in the day. I also love the fact that there are smaller and quieter pools around the resort. The Grandstand is my favorite section of the resort as it is the first stop in/out from the parks. Not a first floor fan. We own at Boulder Ridge, Beach Club(needs a refurb!!!!), BLT also in need of a refurb and two contracts at SSR. You were very close to the boats and could have taken that to DS. Maybe next time. Please let people know the expense of the room here. It is not a value at all. LOL

Oh, I agree 100% it feels like a brand-new resort with the full-on refurbishment. The jacuzzi tubs weren't maintained enough to keep them in place, and yes, for the cost, not only in cash but points, wise bay lake towers is in need of a massive overhaul ASAP.
