Many years ago, I book a room on 192 in Kissimmee. It looked pretty seedy but it was cheap. The deal breaker was that the water from the tap was brown. I went right back to the front desk and they found me a room in a sister hotel that was still cheap but at least it was clean and the water was clear. Thankfully, my vacation budget has improved since then.

My one friend from a few years back lost her house in a house fire and this is where they sent her to. They use this hotel for rapid rehousing related purposes so you're going to get a lot of homeless people checked in there. She lived here for a good 6 months or so while they found her a new place to live. Also the no pet thing is a lie, they allowed her to bring her three cats and one Pitbull to the hotel with her and didn't bat an eye. I always felt a little sketched out walking around there.

I recently stayed at a Quality Inn at Kissimmee Florida and it seemed a little run down but ok at first. When I woke up at night I actually saw three cockroaches near the nightstand. Then I stayed a couple days in Tampa. Someone forgot their walking cain (the kind that has four prongs on the bottom for stability) and it was in my room. The neighbors were kind of noisy and there it cost $300 just for two days. I suspect that some of the rooms were taken by victims of the recent hurricane which might explain why it cost so much.

This property used to be a Radisson. A newer building was added in the late 1990s and is now a Holiday Inn.

Maingate lakeside resort is by far the worst resort I've stayed at in the theme park area. If you're seriously searching for the worst hotel in Orlando that's where you need to go

Glad I stayed at the Hyatt on International Drive. I was in the original Peabody Building but the entire place was very well kept. It was free to me. If not I’d probably would have been at the one you were at!

I just moved to Florida for my job & im so thankful for your reviews. The hotels/motels down on 192 & International Drive have DEFINITELY changed over the years & I for one, as a traveler, am a NO GO! I get the financial side of things, but it’s not worth my health to stay in ANY of those! So run down & gross! I’m from Missouri, I know I know, midwesterner, but we to have a horribly run down resort town full of nasty ass hotels. If you ever go to Branson, Missouri you will see the same situation. A once beautiful resort town turned into a shit hole! So many places just don’t care anymore & I feel the health department should REALLY close the shit holes down!!!!!! I subbed & look forward to your reviews. Thank you 🙏🏻

This seems like a descent value. Very thorough review. Although they have some room for improvement a few of your observations were not fair. Lots of hotels use the same brand AC, the laundry area didn't show evidence of bed bugs . Lots of hotels have smokers outside but I think "smoke free" means it's not allowed in thier rooms. But your review is very thorough. This building was built by the same builder that built some of the Rosen properties. Of course Rosen keeps his properties in very good shape. GOOD JOB ON THIS VIDEO.

maingate lakeside on irlo bronson is a real shithole. upon moving to orlando in 2022, i blindly booked an extended stay to get myself set up. when i pulled into the lot, there was a dude passed out on the pavement by the dumpster and a hooker walking around the lot in a mesh dress. doors have damage from being pryed (sp?) open, gaps along the bottom large enough for pests to come/go. i did not stay. peep their reviews if you wanna try another spot in the area.

Stayed there back in 1995 when it was the Radisson. I go to the Rosen Aquatic Center about 4 times a year but I stay at other places. My next trip will be staying at the Courtyard. The Holiday Inn there has very low toilet seats and a reputation of stuck elevators. The Quality Inn was the Red Roof and the Sono was the Quality Inn which change in the last few months or so.

The OYO hotel on South OBT is horrendous. I stayed there and wasnt sure if it was bolt holes or bullet holes in the wall.

The Howard Johnson on I-drive behind Dockside is particularly nasty. Every time I visit Orlando (usually once to twice a year), the property is under a different franchise.

I stayed here during IAAPA in November. I had to change rooms and the one I moved to was just as bad. Horrible experience would not recommend staying here. Ripped sheets, cracking walls and dusty rooms!

The Quality Inn just up the street from Clarion Inn is the worst hotel I've ever tried to stay at. We didn't make it an hour before checking out.

I stayed in a Quality Inn in Pensacola was my worse experience ever. The maids did as good as they could. Everything was broken...coffee maker, etc. The fridge looked like it had bullet holes in it. The pillows looked like they were from WII all for 250 a night and NO refunds.😮 We avoid Quality Inns at all cost. I would rather sleep in my car.
