Really refreshing video. This Haw Par Villa was my to go childhood place, be it primary school excursion, etc or family 1-day outing. Fond memories with my beloved late grandma.

Used to go there at least once a year for my dad to reminisce about his past. We were distant relatives of the people who founded the brand. It was really memorable.

Haw par villa is liked a home to me😊 I used to work there as night guard years back. Best part is im the only one inside once they closed. So far i dont encounter anything weird or supernatural things. Miss the place very much

When we were younger, we had to go such places because there wasn’t smart phones or theme parks such as universals studios or aquarium etc or even nice chill cafe or malls to hang out in. Today we have so many places to hang out and we appreciate what we have and not having to visit such scary places for entertainment anymore. I remember when my parents brought me to the ten courts of hell attraction and there was a boat ride then it was quite scary but I guess that’s the only boat ride in Singapore then.

Hi Ghib yr version of Haw Par Villa really brings back gd memories of us visiting HPV during our childhood days when we were staying in Telok Blangah not far away. The best part of the whole experience is the Chamber of Hell. It depicts the interpretation of afterlife which is really gruesome.

Pretty sure that long ago (like maybe 40 or so years ago) the 10 Courts Of Hell used to be a water ride. And it used to be in a dragon shaped building/shell. But they renovated and by the time I first visited when I was young, people had to walk.

Not proud to say but a confession. Me and my friends used to sneak into Haw Par Villa attraction by the side slope during the night back in 2013. Tried to visit the hells gate but it’s sealed up. After two successful attempts and dog chase. They put up a net on the slope/wave. Why? Coz I was a dumb young child and it was a thrill adventure to do after visiting my friend at NUH.
