Asia is cheap and magnificent. Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur have some of the nicest 5-star hotels that are half the price of a Premier Inn. Even the cheaper 3-star hotels put the Western 5-star to shame. You should really check out Siem Reap (Ankor Wat) in Cambodia. It is spectacular and also insanely cheap to visit. Vietnam is another incredibly cheap place with lots to do and see. Hong Kong and Tokyo are stunning (not cheap) but worth it. Can be done on a budget, and as for all things Asian, it will be clean. IF you cant be bothered with the Chinese Visa but still wish to visit, there is a work around. China issues a 144-hour transit visa for UK citizens and others. I once used it on an LAX-(PVG)-ICN. Its no hassle and works well. Can be used for a few other ports. China is as spectacular as the USA

depends on which room you get tbh. the standard rooms that Ed was in you have to pay extra for the beer but if you get a premier room then beer packages are all included and you can drink them from anywhere in the room at no extra cost. brewdog in manchester is one of my favorite hotels for that very reason lol

the tables get sticky because they use the wrong cleaner and it fucks the varnish making the tables permanently sticky

Since covid I think they seem to be using some anti bacterial one in places. I used some posh private hospital after the covid period and in that place every surface was sticky, disgusting.

This is exactly what I did in an apartment in Poland. Got there late at night when the shops were shut, drunk the "€3" beers from the fridge and replenished them with the same brand the next day from the Spar for €0.29 each.

so the cans are £25 for 10, so...2.50 each, if you buy the package, or for 2 times the cost, you can have 1 can... also a 12 pack of brewdog at tesco is (as of writing) £13,while a mixed pack of 12 (the EXACT ONES SHOWN HERE) is £16

They almost certainly send the same retail packaged 12 pack to the hotel and just unbox it and discard the cardboard. I mean it'd be crazy if they didn't, but it makes you wonder what you're paying £9 for.

£25 for the beer package is actually pretty good value. I think you can take home all of the beers you don't drink and there's quite a lot of them.

Brewdog is beer for people that don't know/drink craft beer. Same with Beavertown and Brixton beer (both owned by Heineken). Drop Project, Pressure Drop, Howling Hops, Exale, Hammerton, Kernel are all London breweries (theres like 200 in London). You should try the Bermondsey Beer Mile too (seeing as you're not a Londoner but do a lot of London content)
