You’ve reacted exactly like most of us Australians do when we hear this song. It reminds us of home.

Amazing. Your reaction is so amazing. We Aussies are extremely proud of how we punch above our weight on the world stage. We call where we live The Lucky Country. You're beautiful. Thank you. 💛💚🦘

Don't worry, I'm Australian and this beautiful song by Peter Allen originally puts a tear in my eye as well. The song is so good and highly adaptable, I'm surprised someone in another country hasn't changed the country name and put their own twist on the song, and covered it. It would be a hit I'm sure.

Beautiful song!! This morning while grocery shopping at the Air Force base there were Australian Air Force people shopping. They are here on temporary duty. I talked with them for a while. Very nice young men!! 😊

If I can please have a look at Eivør - Falling Free (Live at the Old Theater in Torshavn) This young lady is full of talent.Eivør Pálsdóttir, known mononymously as Eivør, is a Faroese singer-songwriter and actress. Great propaganda but the airline has had it's issues. Recently fined for selling non existent tickets. Still let us not get bogged down in reality. Great song as it pushes the idea of inclusion and acceptance. The woman who says "I miss you" is one of Australia's greatest tennis players who is a First Nations person. The guy who is not keen to get in the swimming pool is also a First Nations person and one of our greatest AFL sportsmen who won the ultimate award on two occasions. The kids in the school are in a small outback town where the airline first flew. The song was used by Qantus using a youth choir at the time of the Sydney Olympics in 2000. It was an event which led to Australians feeling that they no longer lived in a remote backwater but in a dynamic successful country
