Oh man Britt.....thank you for posting what you said. My father passed away suddenly from hypertension just 4 months ago. Literally the hardest time of my life. As an atheist I do not believe in Christ or God or any Gods, but I find such a beautifully human and wonderful sentiment with the topic broached today about joy and happiness, and the wish for a purpose. That wish certainly extends beyond all religious boundaries, and even though I might not agree with certain ideologies I always appreciate the heart that you guys put into relaying life experiences and reaching out to the viewers that need this sort of talk the most. :)

Thanks so much for this comment and for your approach to it! I mean, what Brittany was talking about is the basis of our every day lives. Any sense of happiness or positivity in our vlogs comes from our joy in Christ and sometimes we just feel the need to voice that specifically. However, I totally agree with you that, no matter what you believe, it's always a good reminder to remember that things won't always be perfect but it's important to remember that we all have a purpose. :)

That's awesome to hear! Trust me, you're not alone. It's hard to put into perspective what this life is all about sometimes. I know for me, personally, I can get caught up in KZbin, business, projects, etc. and I quickly remember that none of this is permanent and this life is temporary. It's then that I remember that my joy is in Christ and knowing that He died for my sins, mistakes, downfalls, etc. and that one day I'll be able to live a life with Him that is free of pain, tragedy and more. And THAT keeps me going, in both the good times and bad. :) Keep looking for your joy and remember that God loves you no matter what. :)

My first baby was stillborn in July, a week before his due date, and I have never felt happiness since.. having a child is all I have ever wanted and I just feel angry at God that he took him from me. I feel I will never get over it. The thought of once meeting my baby is not a consolation at this moment.. I will never be able to hold him in my arms, to read him books, to laugh with him.. I will never know what his favorite color is, which animals he likes the most, what he wants to become when he grows up.. Try this mango chili in the crock pot! We love it! Ingredients • 1 can (15-ounce) pinto beans, drained • 1 can (15-ounce) black beans, drained • 1 can (15-ounce) kidney beans, drained • 1 can (15-ounce) cannellini beans, drained • 1 cup frozen mango chunks • 2 cans (10 ounces each) Mexican diced tomatoes, not drained • 1 packet (1.5-ounce) chili seasoning mix • 1 tablespoon curry powder • 3 tablespoons tomato paste • 1/2 cup mango nectar Cook on high for 4-5 hours depending on taste. :)

Thank you Brittany. I had to hear that. My Uncle passed and no one really asked how I was. They just assumed I was okay. Out of all the Uncles he was really special to me. He died of a heart failure. It kinda crazy because I've been feeling like my heart was breaking apart. Your words though... They're exactly what I needed. I know I matter to God and to someone, but I just kinda lost sight of that and I felt like I didn't matter. I tried to pick myself up, but I never allowed myself to grieve. That joy I had kinda faded. But listening to you talk reminded me its okay to feel. It is okay to not be where everyone else is because God has a bigger plan for me. Wow I really needed that right now. Not just the message about happiness and joy but the fact that Britt took the time out to share it. It showed me that there are some genuine people out there who truly care about other people. This meant a lot to me. It was also a wake up call that I need to get back into the church, but finding a new church in a new place can be so hard sometime. Anyway thanks again Nulls and Happy Holidays!

just want to say thank you thank you! this is exactly what our church was talking about last sunday too! i have been in a real funk this past month i can not figure out what is going on in my life, my marriage. Christmas was always my favorite time of year but for some reason this year is just not the same. i need to sit down and pray. thank you!
