Which rack sampler? Chopping is actually fast on rack samplers once you learn how to do it, plus they are GREAT at manipulating samples. I would chop on the rackmount, sequence with the ONE.

Been wanting monitors…. Already got speakers. But few days went by and I found some wooden panels and decided to bolt them to the dry wall. What a huge difference it made. Just scrap wood that is in pristine shape and slightly aged, just don’t use fence wood lol. I still want newer gear but acoustic treatment is worth it more than new speakers. Was using bose speakers and now using a Yamaha soundbar, the newer one at Costco seems just as good and probably rattles less. Gotta find those bargain deals and not just sell old gear.

I hear you. I've never used an mPC x, but i'm sure it has its own sound. And can do lots of things the 3000 can't do.

@@eddieleonard6925 They have a mpc 3000 mode it just doesn't sound the same. it . The MPC X does sound good it just doesn't sound the same.... The drums just hit different. To get similar sound I have to send the drums out for analog processing before I capture into Logic.

@@risingphoenix1484 I get what you're saying. It's true, the stereo outs on the 3000 hit different.

Akai Miniak is all I got…. Akai needs to make a new synth again…. The Hydrasynth is basically the Alesis Micron/Ion 2.0 not sure if Akai and Alesis are under the (same) umbrella company.

it'd be cool if Akai made a synth.
