This is wild. This is something I have been looking for a while now, especially being able to convert subtitles to graphics. I have learned a lot from your channel, keep it up. It is sad that KZbin does not promote enough a channel like yours. Keep it up, 1 milly subs by this EOY.

Hey, "personal use" for Komika in Dafont is wrong, they already say that the priority should be the text given by the company providing the font. The company providing the font is an organization called "apostrophiclab", which was founded in 2000, and this organization offered Komika Axis %100 free of charge. (Note: Also on most other font sites this is Free Commercial.)

If anyone else is getting a rendering error when trying to use this effect: When setting scale in your transform effect, set it to a value other than zero. I set mine to 0.1 and now it works fine. Also when you're creating the captions you can set your text preset there once you created it and save that as a preset as well for the next time you go to do captions

Dude this is epic. I have been placing subtitles as an afterthought. I use them a lot with my professional stuff but haven't for KZbin yet. In the back of my mind I have been telling myself it's time to get thoroughly versed in captions, but never got around to it. Your timing is great and I'll be referencing this video later when I put this into practice. Curious though, I don't seem to recall you using this on your channel (outside of this video)? Is there a specific reason for it or are you just trying to keep things consistent with your other videos which seem to be doing rather well on their own? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with all of us. You are helping me break some really bad habits with Premiere Pro and it's really appreciated.

trying to keyframe the zoom in of the text but its always showing at 100% scale at the start of the text for a SINGLE frame. then it takes what the first keyframe is set to

Are you sure the font is not allowed for commercial use? From the txt file that comes with the font the author writes " If you do use them in commercial projects in which you make some profit, please take the time to give a small fraction of that to your favourite charity."

My heart sank because Update Caption to Graphic was all greyed out. I saved my project, ran the update, opened up the program again, imported my project, and when I went to look for the option, it was there!! So cool. What a great feature, finally!

Dragging transform into the text panel only applies the effect to one caption for me. does that mean I have to individually apply the transform effect to each separate subtitle, or am I doing something wrong? I've tried selecting all of them but you can't apply effects to multiple objects at once.
