I STOLE this CRAZY yard MAKEOVER from HIM!!!

THIS YARD WAS SO OVERGROWN IT WAS STICKING OUT IN THE ROAD! A lawn guy drove by and said I stole this yard from him lol. He wanted to do it but we got to it first, he was a super nice fun guy shout out to him for stoping and talking to us, he actually used to live in this house! But This is the most satisfying yard transformation I did in a while! There was an insane amount of overgrowth growing into the road. So you know I had to stop and do a makeover on this yard. YOU COULNT EVEN SEE THE HOUSE but I had some help on this one AP from ‪@Cleanthecityinc‬. We spent all day turning this yard into a nice front yard! I think we did a great job what do y'all think!!! I love y'all and hope u enjoy!

Hey AL, I'm in VA. Watching you motivated me to help my neighbor three doors down. He was actually renting his house out and the tenants had left, unknown to him. I was driving by on my way home and noticed him trying to cut down the overgrown (2-3 ft high) back yard with a weedeater. I got my riding mower and cut it for him. Grass was so high, I ran over a full size tire with the rim and almost ran over a new looking tricycle. I did end up with poison ivy but it made me feel so good helping out someone. Al Bladez ... Hi Al, I met a lady at the side of the road with a flat tyre, and no tools to swap it for the spare. She was on her way to an interview. I drove her to an interview, then dropped by a car spares shop and bought a tyre iron. My fiance and I are going to find a elderly or disabled person this coming spring and offer free lawn service for the mowing season. I had my own lawn care business yrs ago but due to health had to give it up . Now i watch yall and decided to bless someone doing something I love. I never post, but I have been watching you . I grew up in Tampa, and my Cuban father owned a dental lab in the city, but our 10 acres farm was his pride and joy. I was just sitting here reminiscing about the fact that every weekend was yard time. I was the oldest of 3 girls, so I was he helper, what made me comment was, those were the best times of my life. Back then, we didn't have weed eaters, I had to use hand clippers. But was every weekend of my growing up. He helped anyone that needed help. We would have people come to house, for different reasons and they needed dentures, he did it for free. But I was sitting here and realized I have 2 smells that fill my heart and the best one was after finishing the yard, and laying in the middle of it just watching the clouds. The second smell was the milk I feed the calf's. feed the calf's, so watching your channel has made me more than happy. One funny note, (if I didn't finish my what I supposed to do in the yard, and I mean finished, I couldn't watch (The Partridge family) , well I just showed my age, What you are doing is really a big deal. I know you change people s life's. Happiness to you and your family and people in your life. He has passed on, but working in the yard was the best times of my life. You are a good person.

I accepted... before you asked. I have a friend who has a fairly large yard and two young kids. I live in a condo and don't have anywhere to do physical work. So, every few days, I drive by his place and see if anything needs to be done. If so, I just do it... trim trees, rake leaves, mow, clean gutters, pull weeds, etc. Good positive work. Good exercise. Helps him out.

Hey Al. I have a neighbor who is very young and was trying to start a landscaping job but he didn’t have the money to buy the equipment needed. So I got a friend of mine to give him a lawnmower , blower, hedger, and a weed eater. Today I sharpened the hedger for him and oiled everything up for him. Now he has everything he needs to start working to make a little money from the neighbors. He’s all alone and young so I try to help him. Your videos teach me so much so im passing it along to him. Great job guys, its very refreshing to see two young men giving their time and labor for free and you and AP make a great team. As for paying it forward , my wife who is in her 50's and myself now in my 60's we are raising three boys aged from 5 to 11 years . We never asked to be foster carers it just kind of happened and we said yes when we got asked, retirement is out of the question as we have our boys to raise until they are 18 years of age but we wouldn't have it any other way. Steve, you must still be very young at heart to care for those young kids. You should look into retirement because Social Security has a program where you can collect about 75% of your SS per child until they leave High School. I am 62 with a 16 year old daughter and it helps out tremendously!

I almost died this weekend due to a kidney stone that tore open my tube and urine leaked into my abdomen and had to have surgery thought I’d never see my wife and kids again. I have accepted your challenge also but with a different spin! My friends refrigerator/freezer went out, then next day freezer went out! Well I love scraping. I took all of it apart, dividing all of the iron, copper, aluminum, motors, compressors, coils etc. I’m in the process of taking it to the recycling station! In the meantime a friend of hers dishwasher went out and she brought it to me so she wouldn’t have to pay to have it removed! Did same with it! They were very grateful for me getting rid of the mess for them! I wanted to share the money with them but they wouldn’t take it! Because of you (and a few other KZbinrs whom you have done colabs with,) I, a 67 year old single for life lady, decided to buy a weedeater to do my own lawn work. Crawling around on hands and knees pulling up weeds can be great exercise but labor intensive. And, having tried to trust someone to do the work has only allowed for money loss and NO work. I accept your challenge. I cleaned up and mowed the yard of an elderly veteran in my neighborhood. I wasn't supposed to do all of that because I got injections in my thumb yesterday but I was careful not to hurt myself further. Also, as soon as I heal I plan to pull the weeds in his flower beds. Thank you so much for restoring my faith in humanity. It feels good to get out into the community that took so much away from me and give something back. And all because you helped me realize that there are other people out there like me who want to be kind and give back instead of takeaway. I haven't encountered many people like you in my 40 years on this Earth. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY ONE AMAZING HUMAN BEING!

Al…You make this look so easy. Well, I took the guard off my trimmer, bought a flathead shovel and went to town on my driveway. Did I get a beautifully edged masterpiece like you always finish with? No. My driveway looks like a drunk guy, who came home after a night at the bar and tried to give his cat a bath and tried to kiss it to calm it down. Luckily, it’ll grow back, so I can keep practicing. 😁

I love what you do helping out families that either can't mow their lawns because they are too old to do it or because they just simply can't. I live with my daughter and has a backyard that needs mowing. I was hoping that you can come out and cut her grass in the backyard. I would greatly appreciate it.

I got a battery electric push mower but it has a lever that self propels it if you are having trouble with a hill etc. It's enabled me to take care of my yard and my mother's yard. I have to go slow but it gets done. Just something to think of for your situation. BTW I had a TBI and I'm over 70yo women so I understand not being able to do everything I could do when younger and in better health (so not judging your situation, just making a suggestion)

You have inspired me for a long time and I've mentioned this on other videos of yours but to address what I have done nice for people....my neighbors, who are hispanic and don't speak good English, normally get their yard really well groomed. I've noticed as of late that their yard was getting over grown, which suggests something is wrong somewhere. We can't communicate very well so I'm not sure what is going on, but I surprised them by mowing their yard and getting it taken care of...I don't need to speak their language to understand what the wide smile meant. There's also an abandoned house in my neighborhood that was significantly overgrown. I've begun to mow and maintain the yard to help my community. I don't have much to use as of yet...I'm trying to get more equiptment...but I did just get an Ego Z6 Zero Turn (I also try to be as environmentally friendly as possible). As I build up more equiptment I'll be able to do more for people...but for now I've been simply mowing and trimming the yards I can. Thanks again for being such an inspiration!

I accept your challenge! My brother in law had a heart attack. I flew out to CA with my older sister. When we got to bring him home from the hospital, I noticed they needed trees trimmed as well as bushes. I took my Al Bladez KZbin University knowledge and put it to work cleaning up their yard. Next time, I will wear gloves, got a blister from all the trimming!! I'm a 63 yr old grandma and I'm happy and snappy!! Thanks for all you do!
