I hope you didn’t quit because at times like this when you push past the haters and the negative comments and just life experience I understand what you’re going through. I’ve been there. I just don’t know if you quit or not. I’m just going by the title it said this is why you stopped if you stopped doing videos, that’s fine. You're HOLDING the hair taut to reduce strain on the roots as you detangle. You're using SILK AMINO ACIDS. These people are bumping their gums but are TOO SOFT to detangle some matted hair for 6 hours straight. They'd rather act like this hair is not tangled or matted, coat the tangles in leave in conditioner and grease, and twist it up into some two strand twists.

I remember having the same issue when I was a teenager and itvwas because I left the braids in too long. Took me forever to get the tangles out. So, they give up detangling & combing out their own hair, & try to shampoo & condition thinking it's gonna make it easier. OMG! ALL THOSE HAIRS YOU WOULD SHED ON A DAILY IS MIXED IN YOUR HAIR STULL ATTACHED TO YOUR SCALP. Hi cyn!! Do you have any videos on how to slightly adjust your hair routine to fit the changes in the weather? Like I only wear my hair blown out and or straightened. Don’t wear braids or wigs etc. and don’t add extra product to my hair. Trying to figure out how in the world to manage the roots of my hair in the spring/summer humidity. For those of us that follow you closely and have made all the changes and seeing great results, I think this would help us we transition into more humid months. Especially those of us with high porosity hair. How can we work with our bodies to practically keep our bonds set in beta keratin (because the moisture in the air seems to reverse that, causing frizz😢) good thing is that the rest of my hair can be easily managed for the most part. But roots are always so stubborn really all year. I know the answer is simple but just can’t source it out for myself. I feel like it’s a greater concept that I’m missing here. Thank you!!

I remember having to spend an entire night no sleep detangling my out, grown relaxed hair that I took out from braids and did not get Detangled before wetting. It was hell and I remember my stylist told me exactly relax hair does not like water but because of KZbin and other sources and cause I came from being natural who put water in my hair all the time I didn’t listen she always told me to detangle with oil, but because I was told oil, and dry hair is bad I didn’t listen these days I only detangled dry with oil. Yes this is why i stand with braiders who want you to wash and detangle before coming. Im sorry but not everybody is depressed but wear protective styles bc they are lazy or desperate for hair growth. Black women need to stop this.
