I wouldn't say the puzzles are especially difficult but I would recommend playing it with the puzzle difficulty as high as it will go, as it really encourages you to use your eyes and your intuition and take in your surroundings, instead of relying on markers or glowing outlines or anything. At the end of the day, Starfield was a decent game. It wasn't great, but it did address and fix many of people's criticisms directed to Fallout 4 and Skyrim. Sadly, it failed at exploration, Bethesda's greatest strenght.

I've noticed that I don't really watch straight game reviews any more, but your channel is the one exception and I tend to agree with every take. You have a knack for taking the information I'd get from Game Informer or EGM when I was a kid, a comprehensive roundup of everything good, bad, and "maybe get fixed later", packaged up in a format that feels like actual content I want to watch for it's own sake.

Troy Baker delivered a charismatic performance, with embodying Harrison Ford's gruff mannerisms. Impressive meticulously detailed environments, despite some clunky traversal with some pretty lacklustre stealth AI animations. This was genuinely a captivating experience, with thrilling set pieces even the puzzles were engaging. Machine Games suceeded in crafting a journey, that evokes the timeless thrill of Indy's cinematic quests capturing the essence of being the legendary archaeologist
@Paraludic18 сағат бұрын
I adore what I've played of this game so far. My main issue is the consistency that enemies are alarted when you get spotted. Sometimes I can get into a fight with multiple guards and their friends will be standing just a few feet away, completely oblivious to what's going on. The bigger problem, though, is when every - and I mean every - guard in an area runs straight towards you. This happened while I was exploring one of the earlier tombs. I had to fight every guard in one area because they all just kept coming, and that meant that the next chunk of the area was empty.

I definitely don’t understand the mindset of some people, why a lot of people are surprised this game is great? It looked amazing from the first gameplay trailer they’ve shown. The studio behind it has a good track record (even tho I don’t personally like their games) and it was obvious that it was an important project for Microsoft…
@fintangeraghty9618 сағат бұрын
I think they played a few things close to their chest with the marketing. They really didn't hint at how expansive the game is. The first trailer looked very linear and I was quite skeptical of how they could fill that world with the abundance of puzzles that Indy deserves.

The decision to nix the "reload" button for an equipped gun in favor of flipping it around to wield it as a full-on melee weapon was an inspired choice and is a great example of why combat here feels so unique. Hell, you can THROW the gun at an enemy and that is just particularly funny to me. They really nailed the scrappy, adaptive feeling of being Indy.

Yeah, I don't know about this one, doc. I mean yeah, it's cool on this market that they did not just make a clone of anything, and the look and feel are just right and beautiful. But there is also really bad AI and a whole lot of jank. It's cool this exists but "it all just works" and labeling this an all-timer is a bit bold.
@xalener17 сағат бұрын
every all timer is janky as fuck. Every single goddamn one. Half Life 2 is an inarguable champion of the fps genre. It didn't even actually work correctly for the two decades leading up to the last update. It literally had game ending bugs since 2004 that were not fixed until weeks ago.
