I stuck to my "no Kickstarter decks" goal... a modest but welcomed deck haul

All except one of the decks shown were purchased second hand - I am lucky that Australia has an excellent Facebook group for buying and selling tarot decks, which makes it easier to obtain decks you know are not counterfeit/fake.

Wow you are doing much better than me! I am loving this process of refinement of my tarot collection, and keeping only what I really love and enjoy. Currently applying this practice to my whole house, though with young kids the process of decluttering unnecessary "stuff" is a Sisyphean task 😂

Thank you Nancy, I remember when I lived in NZ I dreaded the onset of winter each April, to the point I'd almost get depressed around early Autumn, though part of the reason is that I am really cold sensitive and don't like being cold (the state of most NZ housing probably didn't help either). So I can totally relate looking forward to the Solstice, although of course up here in FNQ we don't really have winters! Sending you warm wishes from sunny Cairns 😊

I agree Amy, it actually took me by surprise. I think there are lots of oracles based on the ocean and nature in general, but this is the first one that really caught my eye as it has such a relaxed, zen energy about it. Thank you so much Monica! I'm new to your channel and very happy I found you. Kickstarter is a rare thing for me, mostly because of postage. I'm in the States and it seems so many of my favorite decks are either from AU or Great Britain. Postage is so high right now. I'm also starting to look at the second hand market. It seems that my taste runs to those decks that are either older or OOP. LOL!! I'm an artist as well as a reader and I have been thinking about starting my own deck, however, the market is becoming so saturated and AI decks are becoming more and more prominent. Thank you again for your time, it's fun watching you. I also have the Sea Soul Journey and also gifted one to my daughter that is a real sea lover. They are so soft and calming.

Welcome and thank you for your message and thoughts 😊 I agree, postage is absolutely ridiculous, and as for AI, it's a travesty what it's spewing out (can't call it "creating", that would be insulting to artists). But I think so many people value genuine, hand drawn art. I actually only just watched artist Rima Staines launch her oracle deck on Indiegogo, and my eyes so love what they see, a hand drawn deck, with substance and meaning. That's the kind of thing I will back 100%. Don't let AI discourage you from pursuing your art ✨🎨💜
