I am with the company on this one. If they have had their site access blocked by selfish and inconsiderate amazon drivers then they may have tried to go through the "correct" channels, ie: the council , who are probably still dithering and wringing their hands about "ooh, we may have to be put in the position of having to make a decision, oooooohh, what are we going to do?" malarky. Sometimes direct action is needed to force an issue regardless of some petty by-law or dictat so fair play for taking the law "into their own hands" as you say. Maybe if we had more people in this country like these who are just prepared to get on with things then we wouldn't be in the position of being a trodden down pathetic little whinging shithole of a country which we most certainly currently are.

If the system wont help you, help yourself. I agree with Tony. You should remain independent during your investigation rather than blaming the packaging company. You were out of order, the cones were causing no problems that should concern you.

Tony is correct and as a HGV driver hes done the right thing, regardless if its right or not, Police 9/10 wont bother getting cars lorries or vans moved anyway.

Sorry DJ, I don’t see the issues with cones stopping people parking there, end of the day some drivers are inconsiderate.. all that will happen now is the council will come double yellow line it … I really don’t understand issues with cones

To be fair trucks parked either side you would struggle to get another truck to pass down the middle and to turn left out of that company premises, it's the councils responsibility to sort it out if it's been an ongoing issue, it needs double yellows.

Those cones are restricting the space required by lorries turning just as much as parked vehicles would be.

Come on DJ you've just seen a lorry getting out onto the road home much turning point it needed god help the vans or cars that would have been damaged if they parked where the cones are
@patspc6688 Жыл бұрын
You just saw that bloody lorry coming out, he had to come right out to turn !! If a vehicle was parked opposite he could not turn. Where's your common sense man. Doh. ☹️

On the level...how much do you pay the "viewers" for recognising you? I mean you're getting one per video now on average, A B has a channel twice as big as yours and has been around for many more years and I've only ever seen a few people recognise him.

I'm assuming Amazon as in massive warehouse nearby, if so you would think when they built it they would have set aside enough parking
@DefaultAPI Жыл бұрын
DJ in the wrong here I believe. Should be going back to Amazon and not graphic packaging
@robsimpson3201 Жыл бұрын
If Amazon have been leaving their empty trailers there, that's blocking the highway right? Because the trailers are not parked, they are dumped.

Council wont help , i work in a place that has the same probs .The council wont help at all . I think DJ you got this one wrong , been there and done it . I think you are just being slightly petty .

i thought Tony was a top guy, Polite Pleasant and spoke to you with respect, sometimes I think that an auditor can go just one step too far to get views, you must also have the sense to see that although something may be "Wrong", if its for the better good and nobody is getting hurt then it could be "Right" in this case I think its Right, all the wagon drivers want to do is go about their work unheeded, even more so after probably a long night trunking, and if a road is blocked both sides and the wagons cannot get through or turn into the depot well something needs to be done. We all know what councils are like, they cannot even be bothered to put Speed Bumps or Cameras on Roads that are a danger to pedestrians, where you have cars speeding through residential areas, they are a dead loss, so in my mind this company has done the correct thing.. sometimes Give & Take is needed where it is fair and for the better good.
