People wonder why I keep going back to Thailand. One trick for getting around Bangkok is buy a day pass for the sky train. It is only a few dollars and takes you to most places or close in a mater of minutes and the train comes ever few minutes. Also never take a taxi from the airport the city link train is much quicker and also only a few dollars.

If you have a lot of baggage this may not be an option for you. Trains leave every 15 minutes, takes only 30 minutes to the furthest Station, Phayathai, and costs only 45 Thai baht ( US$1.30) depending on the distance you travel. There are money changers near the airport rail station to get you Thai baht to pay for train ad taxi fares.
