The art theater parking attendant probably permitted it because of the price of the vehicle. The UK youtube channel 'Yiannimize' did a vlog about how its not uncommon for luxury car owners to park in 2 bays so that people next to them don't open the door and scratch the car, its actually not illegal for 1 car to take up 2 car parking spots
