That sawblade halo on the car is delightful. I am fairly certain you double headshotted those Farmbots with the saw blades. Stationary blades dont do any damage, but moving blades, whether spinning or simply being propelled by a vehicle do.

Scrapman you should put the saw blade ring on too the front of a creation and spin the blades and structure so you can mass harvest trees for wood and for space for a second base. Maybe for storage, hideout or space for the dress bot and Cotten farm.

I have a theory about why the Big Red Guy didn't break the trap : I think saw blade are made to counter bots so maybe bots can't destroy/attack it. The boss attack is a swing that goes up to down, so it always hits the saw blades first and eventually the blocks behind. But the saw blades could create an invincible layer so the boss would only hit invincible stuff.

Watching the timelapse, it seems that due to the saws huge hitbox combined with the fact its an unwelded build is the reason - the saws are shielding the t2 metal however the trick to it is the damage is 'negated' as the entire trap moves due to the boss moving into the swing; the trap sliding away due to the saw blades hit box interacting with the boss- if you made the trap welded to ground the trap would likely be broken easily. In theory if you rebuilt the cage with cardboard the result would be the same

I have a suggestion . Use those level 5 pistons to make a secondary pusher wall at the top of what use to be the bouncy floor so that on boss raids the boss can be pushed when they die and are about to explode so that your they won't damage the front of your base
