@@KokoplaysMB i just got past one month on vanilla apocalypse for the first time in 3+ years of playing PZ, and had a very similar near death experience where I heard 3 distinct bites, all on my back, so I assumed it was game over but I was wearing firemen clothing and it just took chunks out of that, none were on my neck so I came out of it unscathed. First time that's happened tho haha

(Yes, fucking teenagers, they didnt have a license and fled after speeding and hitting us.) We both almost died, and my dad got badly hurt, his head had to be stitched in a hospital, and my right hand is broken, i can still move it, but it hurts like hell, and we both also got a lot of scars.

Thank you for this. Just finished it, watched throughout a day irl, in between playing PZ myself. One thing I’d like to suggest for next time, More Smokes mod. Growing tobacco, and pot, is a big bonus in a zombie apocalypse. It adds “cultivation” skill.

Another thing you could use to get stronger is the More Traits and Even More Traits mods, the Gordonite perk (faster and more damage with crowbars), bezerker (kills give endurance), action hero (half base damage but more damage more zombies near you), and juggernaut (more damage but more endurance use), then cherry on top use lumber jack to crank up your axe use too. Allowing you fast swings on both crowbars and axes.

Thanks! Unfortunately I've no idea what the exact settings were as I started this playthrough in fall of 2022. Back then I started with ridicolously rare loot mod, but that's an option in base game now, water and electricity were shut off from the start, date was 6 months later with start in January and zombies were set to insane.
