One thing I like to do when starting a new Minecraft world is that after securing and setting up base in a cave, I build my house ON TOP of the cave and then excavate the cave and turn it into the house's basement. After all, if you're going to be living in a cave for a while, you might as well make it part of your permanent home.

When I mine, I mark my right with torches, light big rooms on the floor and important entrances get marked with 3 torches in a line. Which means I usually use the same entrance every time unless the cave system has several entrances :3

my absolute favorite mod to pair with pam's is "spice of life". spice of life makes it so every few unique foods you eat, you get an extra heart, and it comes with a book to keep track of everything. pair this with any challenging combat/exploration mod, and it gives a huge incentive to cook different recipes. It takes a bit of tweaking to get right with all the recipes in pam's, but it's really satisfying.

There is just something so well done about captain's video that I can't quite put my finger on, just like our charm, its almost elusive Id say, perhaps its the lofi background music, the cheesy yet confident jokes, the sincerity, the gratitude, all are things we appreciate^^, or it could be that cap sharing his own opinions and passions, what he loves and hates no matter small or huge, makes me feel like I know him personally, this creates an overarching perspective across the episodic uploads, really awards viewers for watching him a lot as minor details about him keep coming up videos after videos, like Pam's harvest craft, he always is so obsessed about it, bringing it up every time, who knows, perhaps its just cause we are all secretly obsessed with this Pam's harvest craft and its in cap's every vid XD

Fun fact: sweet potatoes are not potatoes at all. They're not yams either, though people like to call them that. Potatoes are part of the Nightshade family while sweet potatoes are part of the Morning-glory family. Potato greens are poisonous while sweet potato greens are edible. Potatoes are a cool weather crop while sweet potatoes are a hot weather crop. The hotter the better for sweet potatoes. I see that the mod's creator put in a few ancient grains, which I applaud. Surprised that sorghum is not among them though.

I have watched quite a lot of 100 days videos and I have to say I have never found one that filled me with so much satisfaction and happiness that this did at the end. It was relaxing, calm and funny, whereas most 100 days I see, its all about fight tonnes of insane bosses, or conquering new dimensions or mastering certain abilities. A few other things to consider next time you’re running Pam’s-Ground Traps and Fish Traps allow you to generate meat, which is honestly huge to early-game survival before you’ve got a structure for animals. This is a phenomenal playthrough though, and you’ve easily gotten my sub. God bless the algorithm sometimes.

I ove Pm's rvestcraft, it's so chill and I feel good trying to make my favorite stuff. oe baked potatoes, cheeseburgers, and such. I do hope some dat you make a Pam's animal and or fish trap. Pam's Harvestcraft, if memory serves, has a ton of tasty fish for cooking, and it's pretty convenient to trap things. Or well, BOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODS! Hve you ever considered trying Botania? It more than just chill flowers. some of those plants make animals repopulate after a renegade axe passes by, and others are just as wicked as the Renegade Axe.

Love the Pam's harvest craft! How about a challenge of a full year. Like 12 months in game days. 3 months of summer 2 months of autumn 4 months of winter 3 months of spring. Or something like that. Survival and no greenhouse during winter/ or just limited. Could be cool. Drying racks to prepare meat, and other for preparation of winter. A temp mod that makes it hot or cold during the season, would give it more of a challenge. Dam- now I want to do that, if I only could get the mods. 😂
