I Survived 100 Days in Hardcore Beach ONLY Minecraft 1.18... Here's What Happened

Today I survived 100 days in Hardcore Minecraft in a 1.18 Beach Only world and this was insane! In a beach only world getting resources becomes quite a daunting task. There are no animals, or trees, or even grass! Anything that I was going to want, I would need to get the hard way. Can I survive in such a harsh world for 100 days or will the lack of resources snuff me out? Watch until the end to find out!

You can use the little bits of moss and place them down on your island and bonemeal them so they spread. Keep doing it till your entire island in lush and green. It’s also infinite moss!

I think the Knockback enchants are good for when your opponents are melee, and you're low on health. It can help a lot to be able to yeet the mobs the frick away from you. It's the Personal Space enchant~

I’d absolutely love it if you continued these series. The base is looking far too cool to not finish & I’d love to see you try & rescue those villagers in the pit (which I think could still be explored more if you had more time!). If you find a lush cave, you’re set. because what type of plants spawn in lush caves? azalea bushes. what sometimes glitchely spawn in the water springs of lush caves? tropical fish. what do tropical fish drop? bonemeal. you got an entire tree farm just waiting for ya. plus if rooted dirt spawns no matter what block is under, you have a renewable source of dirt (correct me if this has been changed, of course)

I really love the comedy and references you added in, and the video was genuinely funny and good. You’re much at Minecraft then I am, even more so since you are confident enough to do a hardcore run. Here’s some info on several things you didn’t seem to understand.: The reason the villagers increase their trade prices and then lower them back down later is so players can’t abuse them so easily. The trigger for the change to increase is usually completely using up the allotted trade opportunities for the given trade. Each trade has a set number of uses before the villager needs to visit their job site block to restock, at which point it may go up until a few days pass. Also,, Wandering Traders will always despawn after a range of time passes. Naming them with a name tag, or putting them into a boat or mine cart will not not stop it, unlike many other mobs. There is no way to prevent it at the time of writing. So your best bet in these challenges if you want to utilize them is to always keep a number of spare emeralds around. I would say ten to be safe because their maximum price is like five per item.

I don't think 1.18 will ever stop blowing my mind either, everytime I explore a world the new world generation is just. So amazing and has me constantly going "oooooo". Found a MASSIVE cave where the entire cave was the like azalea/moss/glow berry biome (I don't remember the name) so this massive cave is all beautifully lit up and green and just like the one you found it just seemed like it never ended. And every so often while exploring Id find a waterfall that just really topped the view off. Plus the light from the glow berries meant very little mobs and I didn't have to waste any torches!

Dude, in day 20-21 close call, you could've easily made golden carrots which are best food in the game.... Super high saturation. You had 9 gold ingots and 6-7 carrots, you could make 81 nuggets. Only used 6 ingots and gotten 7 golden carrots

This video was so cool ! i have a few things to say : 1 : You should definitely continue this series ! its very fun and i love your base and I'd love to see it finished ! 2 : this was a great video, 2 hours of entertainment on another whole new level. 3 : If you don't want to have the llamas despawn, you need to tame them, they need to be tamed to not despawn, even if they are trader llamas, and then you can even put carpets on them ! 3 : Just saying, i used to not understand knockback either, but the second we started having wars on our server the day came i understood. it is the most annoying thing I've ever experienced in minecraft. trying to fight someone who has knockback makes me want to destroy my mouse. so, if youre playing against actual humans, knockback makes you practically untouchable. oh yeah, one last thing.. Much love to Charmander and Mudkip !! They're lorge bois now and they bring so much serotonin ♥️

Maybe some people will say the video is too long but actually, i really enjoyed this nearly 2hour vid for one reason. Most 100 type of video are around 20 to 40/50 min. When 100 days in MC is around 30hours if i'm right. So, i do enjoy to see more of these 30 hour than only 50min of it. Great vid once again.

Color wise, I prefer dark oak, but for everything else I love jungle trees. Its like acacia but not too red, the trees are MASSIVE and give you tons of wood, sticks, and saplings. I've used them many many times as a stairway for treehouses, just to see my surroundings or even to spend the night when you don't have a bed. Very useful in my opinion.

I really liked the video, really good job and entertaining. It shows all the work you put on this videos. Still I wanted to give you an advice. I wouldn't mind listening to the Minecraft sounds. As a sound designer that I am, it's a little bit like "confusing" watching something and not listening a single thing of it. I think It would make the video even better and give the viewer a better experience listening to the game sounds, since we can feel the tension (for example when you are burning because of the lava) and set better the overall environment. You can simply keep them at the back of you narration, I think it would make the video a better experience. Still, please don't take this as a critique, I loved the video and really enjoyed the content. Congratulations on your work ☺️❤️

You should have gotten those moss blocks from the shipwreck to get Azelia Oak Wood! That's the only way to get saplings early game if you are doing desert only challenge, you can also wait for wondering trader and spend some of those emeralds you found from the ship wrecks!

If you use F3, and look at the 'Chunk' listing just under the Coordinates, you can find the Buried Treasures easier. Put your marker on the X on the map, and then look for chunk coordinate 9, x, 9. Chest will be under that block.
