Hardcore Minecraft is basically what real life is like; you only have one life and if you die that's it. Having said that, I have some tips that may help you. They are: 1. Having a bed to sleep in. This is very important since Phantoms spawn in after 3 or 4 days without sleep and also stop hostile mobs spawning in at night (although since 1.18, we can place fewer light sources around our bases now that they've had the spawn rate fixed to where they spawn at a light level of 0) 2. Stocking up on food. Just like we need food to live IRL, farming crops and breeding animals like cows, pigs, sheep and chickens will help you with food supply. 3. Building walls around your base. Take it from Luke TheNotable, the master of Hardcore Minecraft, walls and adequate lighting around your base will help keep those hostile mobs away from you.
