Fun fact: the show river monsters ended because it’s host, Jeremy wade, caught all of them. I’m serious, they didn’t know where to send him anymore, they had nowhere else to go. This absolute chad of a man came, saw, caught, and it was over

It’s almost like there’s 3 different versions of Sean, there is in game Sean who makes a bunch of bad decisions and has no remorse for life or emotions, there’s script Sean who likes to make cheesy jokes and says nonsensical things, and narrator Sean who just talks, disappointed in his past self for making bad decisions.

Fun fact, Mosasaurs are not dinosaurs, but marine reptiles. Their closest living relatives are monitor lizards and snakes. Evidence indicates they were also very aggressive, with many fossils baring damage marks that appear to be unrelated to hunting. The one that ate Forge was also *pretty small for a Mosasaur.*

I'd like to see a proper river monsters playthrough. Throw together mods like, Streams, Wild Nature, PrimalCore, Ice and Fire, Aquaculture, Better Diving, Primitive Mobs, Better Animals Plus, etc. and compete to catch the biggest "monster". Bonus points if you trap it in an aquarium and name it Fluffy.

Fun fact:the "thing" responsible for your second death in the River Monsters was a Mosasaurus, a real-life prehistoric marine lizard that's 56-feet long and lived during the Age of Dinosaurs, eating fish,turtles, sharks, pleisosaurs, other mosasaurs and dinosaurs that went for a swim (I'm a paleontologist at this point in time)

Dinosaurs aren't lizards tho, they are birds or a bird precursor. Lizards would've came from a smiliar ancestor along both dinosaurs and lizards in their evolutionary tree. That's like calling an alligator a dinosaur, they lived alongside dinosaurs and not an actual dinosaur themselves.

I love how he never realized that the seagulls steal items from you. He didnt look at the achievement (name: mine? Mine? Mine?) At all which tells you this. And his items get stolen multiple times ( every time a seagull flies in it steals something). I absolutely LOVE this series!

Hey Sean! If you ever find yourself in a situation where you need a mob that is attached to a lead you can't break( a villager or traders lead) you can place a boat nearby either mob (creature or villager) and once they get in the boat, the lead will break and drop. 4:48 Words cannot describe how hard I laughed at this. The fact that Sean's voice suddenly changes from chipper and lighthearted, to contained and unsettled in a clearance of the throat. What makes it even better is the suspenseful background music that plays over his voice, which just adds to the feeling that Sean is going through some sort of existential crisis over a joke he made. Truly, truly truly truly, comedy gold.

I had a very touching moment when my Father died.... he reached out his hand and gave me the pack of smokes he left to buy so many years ago and then he said, "Son, Lockadon once told to never fault a man for dying under those circumstances on this or any day, no way that counts as a death.... ... now go call nurse Trudy I wanna look at her @ss one more time before I die." He passed an hour later, on day 20. And walked through the door of the hospital room slapping Trudy on her @ss because....it doesn't count.

idk if you'll see this since it was posted so long ago but the neanderthal DNA thing means that a long long time ago your distant ancestors got it on and interbred with neanderthals for probably a few generations, its pretty rare since they eventaually went extinct and the theory is that they were just interbred with ancient ancestors of humans until there were no more, so its actually pretty cool that you have Neanderthal DNA

I love the fact that when Sean saw the gulls, he didn't realize that the achievement Mine, Mine, Mine meant they had just stolen bread from him 😂 if you didn't realize either go back to 33:05 and look at his bread slot, then look at the seagulls after they fly away and get close again and they have bread in their mouth

Sean, my man, great content here. That death with the Kraken? Doesn't count--no sir. Who would have known he was aggressive? The mans was just floating there with a random bar over his head. No way you could have known. Not your fault, it doesn't count. This was awesome, btw. I saw this video and had to put it off for a day because my Wi-Fi was slow, but I watched this after a stressful weekend and I was not disappointed. Keep them coming, Sean! Great job, my man.
