Indev can be fun at times. The world Customization is probably the greatest thing it has to offer. One thing you did “miss” was being able to stack pork. If you played on the last Indev version you can stack pork while smelting. (That’s my favorite part of Indev)

The version I was on didn’t have pork yet, but that’s a weird feature. I assume that was when they added the furnace too

I feel like your experience would’ve been a bit better had you played in the last Indev version. At least there were pork chops, furnaces, leaf decay, functional armour, and paintings.

This is true, but it wouldn’t be the first version to have daylight cycles, I wanted to do the oldest one possible (but with a custom skin and sound)

Cool to see more indev content! Kinda sad to see you were so bored with it. I spent ~3 months (dunno how many days that is, half of it didn't even have days) in indev versions last year, and had a ton of fun. IMO the best indev experience you can get is starting with 20100128, which is the only version to generate both diamonds and the cheaty chests in the indev house. It gives you access to a ton of fun but onobtainable items like coloured cloth, sponges and water and lava sources. Then update to a later indev with more refined survival (e.g. the last version). I spent a ton of time mining and building, but also just exploring the weird game mechanics. Obviously it was a bit different for me because I was updating through the indev versions, and also had planned to update the world to infdev eventually.

nah you misunderstand, the boredom was something I anticipated, I intentionally chose a very limiting update, specifically to say I did the 100 days challenge on the first update to add the sun and the moon :D Also yeah the spawn house in those versions was cracked with tons of loot, but there was no daylight cycle back then so no 100 days. End of the day I actually had a lot of fun building the world and creating this video!

@Nikos. It's a lot different with huge cliff like terrain l, no caves and mob spawning is insane. This version also only generated the big trees, the Paul Spooner trees 😁I think this would be a banger! Oh yeah and there is no doors or stairs😁
