With the beaver dams, did you empty them out of wood? If they arent fully empty, they wont despawn, therefore not respawning either.

In Scorched earth you have to deal with consaint overheating almost every water source has a kapro and theres rock elementals on the map hiding as a rock even getting wyverns and it's made for someone who accended the island bc you get to have more levels than max level from accention and you keep the engram points even bringing new engrams to ark
