I Survived 100 days of Don't Starve together, but playing solo. This was my second attempt at this as my first video I died on day 56 to ant lion. This video was a lot of fun to make, with a lot of challenges and fun moments. I hope you enjoy.

I'm only 5 minutes in, but wanted to comment as your video is making my morning! What a great map layout and I'm super impressed that you spent the nights exploring. Day 3 pig king?! I was a bit stressed as you traveled through the swamp with your torch ticking every so quickly to 0...good thing you had a spare in your pack!! Thank you for a fun DST video! ☺

Some tips: its tricky and it takes practice, but you should be moving away from enemies right before they attack you to completely avoid damage. For example, you can hit a hound 2 times, run out of range, and then run back and repeat and youll kill it without a scratch! Similarly, with terrorbeaks (the stronger, faster sanity monster) you can kite it the same way as a crawling horror: bait out an attack, hit it causing it to teleport, and repeat. Almost rvery enemy can be killed like this, just with a variable rythm! Since youre in the desert cacti are a great source of veggies and only hurt you for 1.2 as long as you pick them with armor. You can use the cactus as a veggie in pierogis so the health cost is more than made up for You can steer a boat with an oar and i find it to be much more manageable! Just make sure not to paddle too fast or youll splash yourself And finally, WX has a module that gives him a 20% speed increase that you should definitely look into, but youll need to scan a clockwork rook to get it if i remember correctly Excited to see more!! :)

Yeah been practicing the kiting in the game but still a bit off with some of their attack animations. I think i did harvest the desert cacti as veggies for the perogis I cant remember. Oh you can use an oar? ill have to try it but be careful because if a splash myself as WX that would be bad. Ill see if I can get that speed module but I've always been a fan of health and night vision. I think the speed on takes up all your module spots though I think. Cheers I'm glad you liked it. 42:54 don’t worry mate that’s not lunar island that’s pearl island and in that island life’s a crab called pearl she gives you some tasks and if you finish most of the tasks she gives you a pearl you can use in a boss fight(yeah it’s kinda complicated) so keep looking for the lunar island you can find it also to fix the leaks in your boat you use the reappear kit on the leak it’s self otherwise it will only heal the boats health (sarry fer bed england)

epic only 100 days with wx78 i found and he is one of my fav characters

if you got only mostly meat and lil vegies get a bird give it 3 meat to get 3 eggs and use 1 carrot n 3 eggs for ratatuie which is a "vegan" dish you can get blue gems from a prestohatitator and some red gems the geckos are best chased into a pen to get infinite grass faster the mushroom is a toad boss and it has 2 variants 1st is tough 2nd is hardest boss in the game id consider using a light curcit a health v1 circuit and based on your needs a speed hunger or sanity curcuit as with 2 slots fo use after night vision if you see some atacking plants they are weeds use a shovel on them the big guy is hangry and dosent attack you unless you pick up food he wants you can kill him with poison food like shrooms n monster meat he drops fur bits near him they despawn if not picked up but it is used to craft thick fur for a backpack upgrade which acts like a fridge its the second best backpack with no downside or a coat which with only a thermal stone makes you need from day till dusk to start falling in temperature and the boss gets stronger in winter with a extra attack it can fight deerclops the winter big guy your lounar island isnt that small there are 5 garanteed areas in the see 1 is a mangrove 2 is a pirate island 3 is a small island with a hut 4 is a castle loking thing 5 are salt formations woud love 200 days

A bit late to the party, but damn, if only you went for speed gear instead of moggles. Sure moggles are great, but if you aren't going to the ruins then a lantern suits you just fine.

That's fair, I think my mindset going into the game was I hate torches and always having to think about needing a light source so that in built light source was nice for that and that it freed up my hands as well. I did look at that speed boost at the time i think

@@aramiesgames9137 You live and you learn. The moggles circuit IS insanely good. I used to only play WX because I crutched on it so hard. It's especially a crutch when you're going to the ruins and other dangerous areas in the caves. But being able to see doesn't matter that much when you literally can outrun everything. When I was fairly new to WX I changed the world gen settings to have more clockworks (rook spawns) above ground so you can ALWAYS get the enhanced speed gear (+4 slots for moggles, or another 2 enhanced speeds). No idea if you'll come back to the game, but figured I'd leave some (relatively) beginner friendly advice for WX

@@aramiesgames9137 Eh I find the early game to be the most interesting imo anyways so think of that as a silver lining. Plus, the game is all about optimizing earlier and earlier so taking what you've learned to create a more efficient 1st year would also be great content. Imo it's far better than the normal 100-200 day vids. Another idea that I haven't really seen done is a vid detailing a (relative) beginner learning how to ruins rush (or other difficult challenges). Think it could def net some serious views considering DST content is doing pretty hot, and there are honestly way too many 100 day vids out already

The reason why you were taking damage from picking plants is because of the spiny bundle weed you can dig it up with a shovel

On day 3 you barely avoided death by Bishop. My cursed world that for some reason has no cave exits has many above ground Clockworks. Why its so cursed? Weird generation which results in the spawn being basically on an island and Only Sweet berry bushes and Twiggy trees. I do not know why people hate twiggy trees so much as they provide so MANY twiggs i almost got full chests.

​@aramiesgames9137 Btw, you may find suspicious dirt pile with tooth on it! If you follow it, you will find Varg, a miniboss that spawns alot of winter hounds and normal hounds! They can be killed for alot of blue gems, monster meat, and hound tooth. Though you would want to fight him in winter/spring, as he only summons the winter hounds in winter and spring.
