I Survived 100 Days on a Void World with Nothing but... a Bonus Chest

Hello,
I was thinking the other day...
"Is it actually possible to beat Minecraft Bedrock Edition on a Void World with only using the Bonus Chest which has an added Dirt Block, Grass Block & 4x Torches"
This my dudes, is just that!

I have recorded all of my time in this world, as you probz know that Minecraft can be very random at times so I didn't want to miss a single thing!
In total, I recorded 28+hrs of footage...

The Bonus Chest Is random every time, so this also adds even more to the challenge as you might not end up with alot of starting materials due to this.
I have chopped up all the footage to share my experience with you & I also came up with some great strategies & mob farm ideas along the way, maybe these ideas may help you if you decide to follow along.

A tip: I'm not sure if you know, but when you have the hunger effect, moving around is the main reason you lose hunger faster. If you want to be more "flesh-efficient," stay still when you have the hunger effect. Loving the series!

Just a tip: You can create dirt with moss blocks. Just create a giant stone plattform with one moss block in the middle. The click with bone meal one it an it will spread. If you then place 4 dirt blocks in a square in the middle an plant there a giant spruce tree, it will replace some moss with podsol, which you can destroy with a shovel to get dirt.

also with at least two dirt blocks you can use piglin trading to get gravel and make 4 coarse dirt and exponentially increes the amount of dirt

Actually you don't need any dirt. Moss also works to grow saplings on it. So you just have to hope for 4 moss. Then you can get lots of dirt

Wow, it was at about 47:20 when you were talking about converting pigs into zombified pigmen that I realized it was possible to get a villager on a pure flat survival. And now I'm pondering the possiblities afterwards. Sadly, though, I would have to restart my flat survival because the bonus chest didn't spawn with an oak sapling (for apples), or cheat since it wouldn't do anything because achievements are disabled.

you probably already know this but if you grow a tree on a moss block (which I think you can get from wandering traders) then it turns into dirt so you can technically farm it

DAN: I've never really made drowneds, I've always seen them in rivers ALSO DAN IN FLAT WORLD SERIES: *Makes zombies into drowneds for gold and later realises about the OP bug which makes zombies heal the item they hold or wear heal fully when converted into drowneds with the item.*

Thanks! :) Yes, I could of made it bigger, but I built a house also(my bank lol) The grind for the portal will be a long one as I need dripstone, a bucket of lava… I would like to try and get another apple too! More villagers for the win!

This is quality content right here! Keep it up! Dont forget! Gravel + Dirt = Coarse dirt, then you till that and get double your dirt! (get gravel from piglin trades)

The grind is really tough. Even though I got oak sapling on bonus chest, it still took me 140 days to get lava bucket (not because I didn't have emerald, but there wasn't a wandering trader selling lava bucket) and on day 160, I managed to go to the nether with 100 levels

A tip: if you hoe rooted dirt instead of path blocking it, you can get azalea roots out, the block becomes regular dirt, and you have more plat material for your composter~ ......not that you don't have 5 million bones....BUT IF YOU SOMEHOW DIDN'T!!!! Or wanted the roots to decorate with~

I’m at where you get the mob spawner set up and I’d like to pitch in with my own variant. Instead of the trapdoor killing area setup you have, if you do something like this: F - - F FT - F With F being full block, - being empty space and T being trapdoor you use less, additional instead of completely filling the fall shaft you just place a source block on one of the back corners at the two block height, you still make drowned but creepers and spiders can still survive. And creepers won’t explode any blocks or do damage if they blow because of the water. Once you get a hopper you can punch a hole one the bottom opposite from where you put the water source and it will wash items out where you can put a hopper under them. Put trapdoors or blocks around it to stop water from going everywhere and baby zombies from escaping and it works wonderfully.

fun fact it is possible for you to get infinite dirt by planting giant spruce trees on dirt surrounded by moss because moss can turn into podsol and if you then mine the podsol you get dirt you can get spruce saplings from wandering traders you can get moss from wandering traders and using a stone generator you can get infinite moss = infinite dirt i hope this helps you out with your dirt problem pls keep uploading i love your content and i am watching your videos since 2015 so keep it up Edit: i just continued watching and now i can see you have infinite dirt already i guess i gonna watch 100 days zombie city again
