I have no idea whether or not you can beat ARK without tames, but I salute you for even trying. Taming dinos is why I play this game; spending any time playing without doing so would be such a boring grind for me.

Baron recently did a no tame deathless run on Extinction. Even though that map is harder but with the stuff available there and because of the boss arenas, going solo was actually easier than doing on the island map.

The taming system in these types of games always seems to deter me, I get the idea of it making it easier to do stuff, but when it's so paramount for the function of the game, then it just seems like a chore to me

Having played asa a lot recently cause a friend of mine forced me to, its so weird how this game just looks better. It has so so much charm that is just lost in asa. And it doesnt have pay to win dlc :p

I have seen this done in ase a few times but using world record setting which meant you level fast but only to I think level 56 or something like that and no mods thats actually how I learned quickly the best ways to play ark because when I started out was before cryo pods and I almost stopped playing ark all together because i couldnt figure out how to play so I started to follow the world record holders that would beat the game with in a couple of hours real time of course i could do it as fast but it helped me allot nw ark can be very difficult but its much more enjoyable even at my setting of max level 240 dinos but slightly higher gathering rates. one of the many things I dont like about ASA is the lack of tech creatures which suck when trying to get oils metals and other mats its like the one stop shop I see you found out the hard way about alpha raptors and stone i did the same I trapped an alpha raptor in a stone trap it was higher level I think 110 but I thought I could kill it with my single shot rifle ... well it eat through my trap and killed everything ihad found and was going to use for breeding then proceed to eat me and the rest of my base so nope stone against alphas stone loses lol I think the brood mother same goes for the ape you cant use the crossbow to pull yourself above them and just shoot them as for the dragon there is an arch close to the spawn point where it can sometimes get trapped but the issue can be getting that one hit kill by other dinos that the dragon spawns in which happens to me allot I hate that dragon minion 1 hit kill the best element boss is the ape Rampy is such a whiner lol congrat ofn defeating the overseer and las smart in using the parachute t oget to it thats what I have don for gama before I am noit saying that mor then a few times I misjudged adn landed in lava or in the centre of dinos but its the quickest way in lol

Or you know instead of 100 days you can just do it in your own pace. I honestly just miss the times where we got accual playthroughs instead of shit like this that aren't showing a lot and only small clips of what happened each day which I really don't like about 100days.

I just want normal playthroughs that accually shows how enjoyable and difficult the game is without these challanges. I kniw you are good at ARK but some people would watch this and see that this game doesn't look hard and would get it for themselves and REALLY see how hard ARK can be. I never see normal gameplay anymore, all I see are stupid small clips that cuts out EVERYTHING
