Little tip: You can place magma on the side opposite to the soul sand and it will both increase the speed and the max stress

Building tip: You can dig into the ground, place a fence/wall, and cover it with moss carpet to make moss stairs, this way you can step up without having to jump and without having to put deepslate slabs on every surface of the cave. works very well in the style/color scheme/Location of your base.

Seems like the most pressing issue right now is organization and distribution. Might take a bit of reworking for some facilities, and an overhaul or maybe a separate add on to your storage but maybe consider working towards an automated distribution center? Basically, you have a "shopping mall" type area where there is a chest for each individual item you commonly produce and need. While this chest stays full, it tells the production related to it to stop sending out resources. On the production side, it has it's own stockpile which, apon filling, shuts down the production. It also only stops sending out materials if all related distribution chests tell it to stop at the same time. Overflow from distribution chests are voided. When a production facility needs a resource, it is requested from the distribution chests directly and the chest starts sending it out to the round about distribution highway. Filters then pull from the belt round about to an input stockpile check which controls this filter based on if it's stocked or not and feeds to the facilities if the product stockpile chest requests more product. As for what you would use the now optimized supply chain for, maybe build a city or a crazy killbot army.

I'm really loving this series. I've always been kind of stymied when trying to engage with Create, and as much as this isn't a true walkthrough for it, it does give me a sense of how the systems can work. I'd love to see you just keep going with this!

About the shaft that broke: There's a chance that something got overstressed. Something that I've found in my time with Create is that if something is stressing a system, the connection to it will just... break. It sucks but it's what happens.

Normal people: ill fill it in with sand from one of my machines that make sand for me. Smart people: Ill spend 2-3 days to find a underwater temple and get a bunch of reusable sponges. RagePlaysGames: Ill spend 7 days working on a one-time-use overly complex and expensive device to pump out all the water and destroy it all by destroying and remaking the water tank using another contraption instead of just making a bigger water tank and mining it myself.

Of courese i love this series and hope you continiue. Also a tip for placing items in chest. you can "shift+double click" and that will move all of the same block into a chest from the inventory. Hope this helps :)
