As someone who has previously struggled with orthorexia and at one time counted every gram of food I ate, to eating like a normal person again and gaining weight to compete in strong woman competitions, this is like watching my two alter egos at meal time.

The ones I personally know at my age (40) are all suffering from massive health problems, especially in their joints and bones. So I dunno, but I rather not having abs and being a bit over weight then needing constant physiotherapy just to be able to walk 😉

This was such a great video and such a wholesome perspective on food. I did a cut in November and honestly starvation is the best seasoning. I totally understand that plain rice cakes taste so good during a cut or that bodybuilders have the worse taste buds. 😂 I appreciate how you mentioned that technically both diets aren’t considered healthy and that it’s ultimately to achieve a temporary goal vs making this a lifestyle.

Mitch, just so you know that spray is not actually zero calories! It only gets away with saying so because the serving size is ridiculously small, something like a quarter second of a spray. All oil, including cooking sprays, have the same calorie content of around 9 calories per gram/ 40 per teaspoon Loved the video!

Little T's metabolism has to be messed up for going on such a big cut. I am 5'1" and 120lbs, have 17% body fat, and my maintenance calories is 2,200. I am shocked that her bulking calories are still so low!

5'0", 105lbs, 2200 calories maintenance for me! And 250g of carbs a day at least. It's a bad idea to compete (in any sport) if your metabolism isn't sky high. That should be the first objective.

@@Your_nearest_toyota_dealer they workout alot. 120lb is higher end of normal bmi and with average muscle mass development would be at least 20% fat. This person lifts a bit. Also if you lift and do lots of cardio you get a nice engine even though youre tiny.

Not really, EDs disregard the importance of macros (on either side of an ED) bodybuilding you're restricting yourself methodically, ensuring that you're keeping up proteinc carbs, not having too much fat but eotll giving yourself allowance and in doing so, you'll loose weight whilst hopefully maintaining your hard earned muscle. Bodybuilding is methodical, EDs is just either pure restriction or lack of.

As a normal sized guy, Mitchell's diet is way easier than T's. I averaged about 4500 kcal per day while backpacking and that was largely just oatmeal and peanut butter.

It's still wild to me when I hear people have trouble eating. I've had a weight problem all my life, and really struggle to not overeat. I can binge eat like a mad person. I'm currently trying to lose weight, and my god, my metabolism is complete rubbish. I need Little T's cutting calories to lose, even though I'm in my 30s, a foot and a bit taller than she is, and have a full 100lbs more weight. It suckkkkkkks dude.

She takes substances like Clenbuterol (a steroid) that burns fat. No human eats that much and stays that shape naturally. There's a ton of steroid use in bodybuilding.

Do you exercise? If not that’s likely the main issue. Your diet can be good but if you are just sitting all day and not dong at least 30-40 min of exercise a day you’re not going to get the results you desire IMO

@@malory1444She does not eat this amount to gain weight she’s reverse dieting meaning she’s making her way up to maintenance then bulk. But when your are in such a lean state as she was it’s pretty easy to build up muscle because your body was starving for so long. You guys need to stop seeing her as equivalent or even comparable to you. She’s a professional athlete. So don’t apply what works for you to her it’s a totally different playing field.

It’s a common misconception that spray oils are 0 calories. In reality it’s the same oil as any other, the manufacturers can just get away with calling it “0” calories since the serving size is usually a spray of 1/3 of a second or some crazy small amount. Still probably saves you calories compared to the alternative though!

I loved this! I was a D1 NCAA Swimmer and used to eat between 4,000 and 8,000 cal a day. Eating Little T's meal plan would've been rough for me. Well done!

I’ll never understand people that eat the way she does. I love fitness and staying in shape but I could never weigh my food, skip seasonings, that stuff is way overboard. Food is a huge part of life everyone should enjoy it

She enjoys looking good and competing more than she cares about seasoning and not weighing things. She said it gives her anxiety so I’m sure she’s not switching up any time soon and she agreed that she’s not healthy

A friendly heads up: the calories and Macros displayed for Little T at the end are NOT correctly calculated, for anyone trying to recreate her maintenance phase: (16x9)+(146x4)+(112x4) = 1176 calories, not 1360 ❤
