All great apart from the new unit already has the cables plugged into it...and the one I have straight out of the box will not fit. Any ideas?

@@xiolage Finally sorted. The clip at the back had an extra wee bit of plastic stopping it from opening. Checked out the old one coming out and saw that shouldn't be there so snipped it away and it plugged in nicely. Thanks for the swift reply.

Yeah heard about this and the people on the owners club recommended the one we ended up buying as it works with CANBUS. Haven’t had any issues just yet. 😁

I’ve had XTRONS units in the passed for the Focus and never gelled with it. This one is called RCD360 and all the owners recommend it. 😊

Can I ask why didn't put fuse in the back radio as I put 15 in back my riado as didn't have ten didn't change the one in fuse box so don't worry just one back radio that okay with 15 be much appreciated for your help

Looks great. But confused about the brand. If i go on ebay and search a for a RCD 360 i get results from £80 brand new to £300. What nake is the one you fitted please? Evidently the £85 ones are useless, but how do you know a good one from a bad one🤷. Cofused.

Since it doesn’t have AUX I’m guessing it’s an RCD360. It’s a VW factory stereo made for Asia (China/India) and LATAM by a number of different local manufacturers (and resold online to retrofit older VWs).

Yep everything works and you do get the option for reverse camera or proximity zone monitoring. 😁

Whack some components in the doors, smidge of sound deadening. All good.

Yeah that’s definitely the plan. When the rear is all ripped out for sound deadening we will definitely do the same for the doors. Possibly a speaker upgrade while we’re in there. 🙏🏼

Thanks for the video mate . I bought a cheapo chinese number , ESSGOOS AR9002 . Its allegedly android 13 bit its as slow as my old man on the toilet. I am going to try and remove some of the apps maybe speed it up a little
