@@roychung6231 Hi Roy, 4 decades plus ago concepts of finding a partner ending up in a marriage were vastly different from that of today when ladies are no long eager to seek partners due to their improved social-economic status. If a young man befriends a girl through actual social interaction, the chance of him being scammed is less but making friends through online introduction it is far more likely he is targeted in a scam. When a girl has met a boy many times and they communicate beyond the business on hand (begin to chat), the male should show his strongest attraction, such as prudence in spending, potential for acquiring knowledge, ability to advance in his career, multiple skills in repairing daily things, understanding of the law and consumerism, eagerness to help the weak, skill in a foreign language, disinterest in gambling; etc. If fortunately at that stage the girl shows interests in him, he may sometimes gain a bit of advantage by keeping part of his real character and behaviour a mystery 不好掌握. For some ladies though this manipulation is not necessary when she is committed.
