This Catch and Cook offshore fishing episode takes place over 2 days. The first day we catch some fish, but I'm more focused on the boat since it just had the transom rebuilt and a dive platform engine bracket put on. The 2nd day I go out again determined to catch a fish for this Catch Clean and Cook fishing episode.

The first trip taking out my new offshore boat was a success! I only call it a new offshore boat because it feels like a brand new boat with the transom closed in and the dive platform engine bracket that was added to the back.
It makes offshore fishing better and I love it!

Hey! Just a quick tip mark your braid with small piece of tape, so you can pinpoint exactly how far back the fish are biting while trolling. Like a “hot spot” distance!

Have you noticed that the boat rides a little bit better in rough water because of the extended transom? It should because it acts basically as a extended Jack plate. 😁👌
