Loved the rebuild and the extra insight/backstory I wouldn't have known about otherwise. If you're up for an MLS rebuild you should try SJ Earthquakes. Things aren't going to well for us on or off the pitch. We're in dead last and quite awful this year, while the owners are generally hated by fans who have been chanting for them to sale the club for years. As a season ticket holder its getting to the point where it's barely even worth the 1 1/2 hour drive to get there.

I haven't followed Crawley Town that much but I can believe that one of the biggest highs of the fans of the club is their back-to-back promotions from non-league to League One (2011 then 2012). Unfortunately for Crawley Town, in the 2014/15 season in League One, they got relegated on the final day. There was a possibility that three out of 4 teams could get relegated that season on 50+ points coming into the final day. But after the fixtures, it was Notts County and Crawley Town relegated on 50 points, Leyton Orient in 23rd with 49 points and Yeovil Town on 40. The final day was something, especially at the drop zone, the key fixtures were Colchester United vs. Preston North End, Crawley Town vs. Coventry City, Gillingham vs. Notts County, Swindon Town vs. Leyton Orient. I'm not talk about permutations, you might have to figure out yourselves. At the end, Leyton Orient threw away a 2-0 lead to only draw 2-2, Crawley took a 1-0 lead over Coventry but lost 2-1 (worth taking into account that James Maddison, now at Tottenham, scored the winner in the 91st minute for the Sky Blues), Notts County lost 3-1 after taking a 1-0 lead but then conceding three goals in the 88th, 93rd and 95th minute. Miraculously, Colchester beat 2nd-placed Preston to knock the Lilywhites out of the automatics and help the Essex side survive courtesy of a goal in the 82nd minute. Despite losing, Crewe still stayed up. It turns out that if the West Sussex club had beaten Coventry, they would have stayed up and sent Crewe down on 52 points. But now, they're back in League One after 9 years.
